I have found this most useful.
For me it is more like a substitute for bookmarks.
Good extension, but lacks some of the functionality from the "Tab Kit" add-on.
Same with line 1357*
I have used Piro's tab extension (add-on) since its release many years ago. I install it on every machine I have access to. It makes much better use of a wide screen monitor with the tabs on the left. Great Work.
FF 3.6.9 WinXP
Tree Style Tab 0.10.2010091001
Tab Utilities 0.9.9.8
It had display issues where it looked like several tabs were displayed on in the top tab position when set to display tabs on Left side. Issue resolved when I disabled the Tab Utilities Add-on.
Cannot live without this Add-on. Certainly one of the most valuable. Keep up the good work.
Bug report: TST re-dispatches a 2nd dblclick event when I double click on the tab bar, causes 2 tabs to be opened when used with https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/59961/
I can't live without TST, thanks for making such awesomeness!
Click Reload Children menu also reload parent tab.
A must-have addon, but not compatible with 4.0b4+.
A terrific add on that saves me great amounts of time... and it simply words, simply.
In my 50 years of computer use, that's about the highest accolade I can give an app.
I could not find a bug tracker, so im posting this here. If greasemonkey is installed alongside tree style tabs then firefox does not open, it does not show any error message in the terminal as well.
Just great. I can get used to this! Thanks! It has some problems: tab indentation/grouping.as.child sometimes doesn't work anymore, until a restart; and it doesn't play nicely with drag operations (doesn't work with EasyDragToGo). It even stops grouping with mouse gestures (as with FireGestures). But great concept!!!
Permet de se repérer dans une multitude d'onglet mais il ne faut pas hésiter les empiler dans le mode "tab on top" pour les arbres, plutôt que cette identition un petit peut "ridicule"...
This is my favorite add-on. I'd rate it even higher than vimperator and session manager, and it's simply indispensable to my browsing style now.
I DETEST any event/object/action opening a new window. I want ONE window. Tab Kit entirely fails in this regard. Thankfully Tree Style Tab fully respects my ONE window desire and routes ALL new window attempts to (subordinate) tabs.
This is my favorite ext. ever!
No chance to lose my search flow.
Even though left-side tree first look is not fancy, but good functionality will make you happy!!!
Simple edit of install.rdf didn't help to get it up and running for FF 4beta4 (also set extensions.treestyletab.autoAttachNewTabsAsChildren to false didn't help) ...
So waiting for an updated (working) version,
Thx in advance!
This has to be updated for 4.0 beta 4!
Big big thanks to Piro for this simple and very useful add-on. 5 stars!
where is mouse scroll support?
cant leave without that.
thank you for ff4 support
Really cool add-on. Thank you. After my last update, there was an annoying problem with the addon. When I open a new tab and browse on it, the name of the tab was never refreshing until my mouse goes over it. To solve it, basically I re-installed the add-on from here and ta-da! Now no problem, joy to use!
Works great. Looks great. This has made my Internet surfing easier and more intuitive. Thanks for the great product.
uninstalled, the fx appearance can not be restored. shit
Makes browsing the web more organized and much easier!
I think developer uses very incorrect and insecure approach in the add-ons developing. And no attention is payed to the testing.
This is one of 4 the MOST NEEDED my supplements. Built by the principle - genius in simplicity. Usage of tree for reflecting the nesting structure has provided the UNSEEN BEFORE COMFORT of Internet surfing.
But full nonserviceability of some of versions of supplement makes me afraid.
Up to me the developer should use the typical approach in developing of such huge software, I mean to devide the branched into testing and stable.
Some of versions totally damage browser. I hardly could come back to the stable version.
