Developer responseposted a month agoThanks for the feedback! We're working on making a separate Android app. It doesn't work well as a browser extension on Android because it needs to run as a background process. Here's some info tracking the Android work: https://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/anti-censorship/pluggable-transports/snowflake-mobile/-/wikis/home
- by Jhon Guerrero, 3 months agoRated 5 out of 5The simplest way to contribute to the TOR project.
It works from the moment it is installed.
The possibility of enabling or disabling it with a single click is practical.
Grateful with this extension that allows me to contribute.
- by MadCake, 9 months agoRated 5 out of 5The idea is great, but please consider adding the ability to monitor how much bandwidth is currently being used and limit the amount of bandwidth I am willing to dedicate to snowflake.

Developer responseposted 10 months agoWhen the extension starts up, it does some feature detection (for websockets, webrtc) and a connectivity test (to the bridge). If everything is passing, it should display the string, "Your Snowflake is ready to help users circumvent censorship" (or, the equivalent translation). That's currently the indication that it's working.
Note that, by design, there are many more snowflakes than users, so it may take a while before accepting a connection.
We're working on better ways to communicate that the extension is being useful in,
