Working great on FF28 Rated 4 out of 5 stars

My only wish is that there was some indicator at the end of a line that was wrapped.

This add-on used to work beautifully on my Mac. But it has not been working for a few months. One of the recent Thunderbird updates must have broken it. My Current TB is 24.3.0. As this problem with long lines of not wrapping properly in TB is a major issue, it would be good to get this add-on working again. I feel loyal to TB, so I really wish the developer would update this add-on (or rather TB itself would be fixed so that an add-on would not be needed for such a basic concept as to wrap lines properly!)

Does not work any more with latest Thunderbird update 24.1.1 (win7)

Unfortunately this stopped working in version 24.x (Windows 7). Do we need an update to get it back in action?

Do not works on TB v24.0 Linux 64-bit.

Excellent

Works perfectly for me, I was using it to read Japanese text files in Firefox so I could use other add-ons along with them (like Rikaichan for a popup dictionary). I had no problems at all.

Doesn't work in TB 12.0.1 Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I can only give it 2 stars under the circumstances. Mozilla's dev cycles are way too short and this is another one which has fallen by the wayside. None of these menus appear for me.

Not perfect, but a *very* useful add-on for reading emails that should wrap but don't. Many thanks!

Very useful addon, which can be used via keyboard shortcuts, too (ctrl-shift-w).

Good but spoiled by lack of persistence Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I agree with the last 2 reviewers. It works as it should **except** that every time I refresh the page I have to re-wrap the text. That's such a blasted nuisance that I'm only giving this extension 2 stars out of 5, otherwise I would give it at least 4. Please fix.

To wrap or not to wrap? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Cool tool! But, like some other reviewers, I'd prefer the picked setting either to stick and not revert to word wrap with every new composition window ...or have the no wrap as default. Or maybe there could be an option that allows to pick which setting (wrap or no wrap) should be the default setting.

Always defaults to word-wrap on Rated 1 out of 5 stars

If would have given it 5* but currently I have to disable word-wrap for each new message I wrote. That insane, so the plugin is almost useless due to this bug. I hope that soon I'll return to redo the review.

Should be added to Firefox base Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Vital for showing so many web pages. It's become my go-to fix for any bad rendering, and tends to work well!

I agree that it could do with an option to be on by default, but it's great anyway.

Terrific tool ! Works great in FF 7.0.1. You will find this option when you right click on a page. This should be incorporated into FF, and it should stick between pages. Thanks for a great add on !

Great tool for fixing annoyance Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It's very hard to read paragraphs when you have to scroll left-right on EVERY SINGLE LINE so this is a great tool.

The description and screenshots are very confusing. They led me to believe that this extension was only available on Thunderbird. I even installed it, restarted my browser, and see that it didn't work, and then uninstalled it.

You should move screenshot that shows how to activate the extension (View > Word Wrap within <PRE>) to the first position of screenshots because all the other screenshots led me to believe this extension was only available in Thunderbird.

Thanks for the great work.

Works as advertised! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great add-on Kaspar! Thanks for your time designing this!

I'm in agreement with "shaurz" comment "Unfortunately the accelerator Ctrl+Shift+O is already used by "Organise Bookmarks" on Linux.". Confirmed. Using this shortcut doesn't work and it needs to be changed.

Keep up this great extension! Thanks.

need extra feature - default wrap on/off Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I like this addon really much as I use it in thunderbird for compose message window (as default is my written text wrapped and I don't want it to be).

One extra feature I'd need here however is to have it globaly switchable to on/off (via addon options, or remembering last value), as I want to have word wrap during composing message allways off and currently I need to turn it off for every one e-mail that I write, this is annoying.

Accelerator conflict Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works as advertised. Unfortunately the accelerator Ctrl+Shift+O is already used by "Organise Bookmarks" on Linux.
