Doesn't work in Fx45. Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Maëlan,

This add-on has been an amazing part of my browsing for a long time, even longer than the past two years since its last update in March 2014. However, the latest Firefox version 45.0 has caused the title to no longer show for some reason. I have filed an issue in github about this, but I also wanted to note it in here. Thanks for all the support you've given to this addon in previous years, and I hope you are still available to support it now. Thank you.

Tim

close tabs? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Since there is no X on the tabs, is there a keystroke method to close the open tab. I tried "ctrl C" but it did not work. I know the right click menu will let me close the tab, but I want to use a key to do it. Thanks.

Hi,

The standard keystroke is Ctrl+W (does not work for pinned tabs — if someone knows some workaround I would be pleased to learn it). Alternatively you can middle-click on any tab to close it.

space between pinned and non-pinned tabs Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Can you make the ability to put a space between pinned tabs and normal tabs into a separate addon, please?

Hi,

I am not sure whether this feature deserves a separate addon — nor if such an addon would be accepted here — since it is no more than one CSS rule, which one can add to its “userChrome.css” (see http://www-archive.mozilla.org/unix/customizing.html). In the currently available version of TitleURL, this is (last lines of “chrome://TitleURL/content/global-aspect.css”):

    /* Separate pinned and unpinned tab with a gap (since both are reduced, we can’t
       recognize them otherwise). */
    .tabbrowser-tab[pinned] + .tabbrowser-tab:not([pinned]) {
        -moz-margin-start: 10px;
    }

As with the recent changes in the user interface I am afraid these lines do not work anymore in the new versions of Firefox (≥29.0), but there should be an equivalent. I should update TitleURL to that new interface (although it is so annoying that I freezed Firefox to version 28 at home…).

Great ! Merci Maelan.

Fastidieux lorsque l on a 50 onglets d ouvert.

Merci pour ta reponse.

Bug in 1.0.2 version Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I have found a bug in which the title sometimes gets stuck on one title, no matter what tab I have selected. This happens after browsing regularly for some time. I do not know how it happens.

tab size bug Rated 4 out of 5 stars

>>Oh, I never tried with that much tabs. :p
It's just one of my groups in Panorama >__>
BTW, allmost all of them is about BattleTech and Mechwarrior Online.

>> Are there tabs which overlap?
All tabs are unique.

>>Does this problem still occur with the new version of the addon?
Yes. Still does.
