No plans yet. My personal life is too busy to be updating Firefox extensions, at the moment.
I had been expecting to simply ignore it, because of the "Firefox button".
good extension and one i am really missing on firefox 4, please update
Could you please update this add-on (or create a fork due to different FF versions) to be compatible with Firefox 4? I have been using this for a long time and I love it and I do not want to check alternatives. Thanks!
Minimalistic, and works great. For me that is a Home-run, Great work.
update,update update update update....please for ff4........
Nicely work on Ubuntu 10.10 (maverik with FF 3.6.13).
Compact Menu 2 is an alternative to this that works with Firefox 4 (beta 7 currently.)
Fantastic add-on for Firefox 3.6. Wish it'll get ported to Firefox 4: the Firefox menu isn't present on all platforms, and it'd be nice to create a button with custom menu options (the same way Tiny Menu let you)
I've been using Tiny Menu for quite some time, and I've been completely satisfied with the addon. It's entirely convenient for space saving and I love adding a bit of a personal touch to my browser. thank you!
Essential. Thank you.
Πολύ καλό! Ευχαριστώ πολύ! :)
Simple, elegant, and essential.
Note that to get the true benefit of saved space, you need to follow the developer's comments to move the Navigation Toolbar items up to the Menu Toolbar, then eliminate the Navigation Toolbar.
I pack many icons on the Firefox menu bar and tool bar. Tiny Menu frees up a lot of space on the menu bar by replacing the text labeled menus "Menu File Edit View History Bookmarks Tools Help" with a single menu icon. Clicking the Tiny Menu icon provides easy access to the eight menus it replaces. Tiny Menu is fully configurable, so if you just can't live without one or more of the text labeled menus, you can leave them active.
My only problem is Tiny Menu version 2.02 is not compatible with Firefox 4.01 Beta 1. I changed the em:maxVersion to 4.1.* in the install.rdf file and was able to install and configure Tiny Menu, but the Tiny Menu icon doesn't appear on the Menu Bar, an it doesn't remove the text labeled menus.
I eagerly await the next version of Tiny Menu. My new Firefox (4.0) just isn't complete without it. Thanks Tony for your efforts producing and maintaining this add-on.
Though the desr says it is not for Mac OS, this should be flagged on Mozilla Add-ons so that can filter out with searches
A must, always install on every computer, it's as important in my setups as ABP, LastPass, Greasemonkey, and the other standard add-ons.
Never given any troubles or caused me any hassle.
Saves an entire toolbar's space without losing any functionality whatsoever--why WOULDN'T you want this?
Ok, I personally think this is a great add-on. I use at work and at home on my laptop. I have been using this add on for close to a year now with no issues.

Learn from my unfortunate experience w/THIS addon: > > > > > > T I N Y M E N U ! ! ! < < < < < <
THIS has 2 b THE WORST FF addon EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IF there is a worse 1 I hope I NEVER come n contact w/it!!!!!!
Y such STRONG, EMPHATIC statements? It caused my 1st BLUE SCREEN - PLUS I LOST ALL my TOOLBARS!!!! I have spent literally hours 2 get it back n2 working order, which should b TOTALLY UNNECESSARY - PLEASE do NOT write ANY MORE addons Anthony Lieuallen!!!! Either IF U KNEW what u were/r doing or NOT - That is DEFINITELY NOT how 2 write a good program. It is beyond me how it has the ratings it has (If possible I would give it @ least MINUS 5 Stars!!!) unless it is padded w/family and/or friends. Once they have 2 spend hours fixing what a screw-up caused, I don't c how they could remain friends!!!!
The maliciousness didn't start until --deleting it. But y would I b deleting it in the first place if it was so good? The answer is: he failed to mention in his write-up that his icon itself took up a whole toolbar height (which took up the space he claimed his program was saving!) - the same height and width of a regular toolbar!!! --w/just 1 thing on it - likened to having a WHOLE (regular) Length (entire width of screen) w/NOTHING but the 'HOME' ICON on it. Would make so much MORE SENSE 2 have it as a listing on the context menu, not taking up a whole line and height of a toolbar.
I have downloaded upwards to 50 add-ons w/ff and of course, like some more and some less, but this is the >>FIRST> MALICIOUS
I originally found this addon when I got a netbook and needed to maximize screen space. Now I use it on all my Firefox installs even on a 24" monitor since I rarely use the FF menus and it really allows you to clean up the to menu/toolbar area. Highly recommended.
It doesn't look like the screenshot in Firefox 3.6.3, I don't have more space
says what it does, and does it good :D
Interesting addon, just one quirk with it - the Alt key does not open the menu by itself, I have to use Alt+shortcut key to open the specific menu. Also, you could add an option to replace the icon with text.
Great module, love having the extra space at the top of the browser window. Thanks!
Nice! Thank you!
I've been wanting an addon like this for a long time great work!
