Necessity is the mother of invention or in my case, laziness is. I have always preferred to support free dictionaries and since other, formerly pay sites changed their names to compete with the "FREE" dictionary, it became harder for me to quickly Google and scan for the word I was looking for. On top of that, even though Google added dictionary displays for some words, they don't always show for every word. Because of this, I wanted an explicit lookup that sat next to the Google lookup.
Who's to say. This is fairly simple, but I may alter the addon to just be a generic lookup service where the user can add custom lookups to the context menu. To do this they could:
User define any destination URIs
Add tokens to URIs for systemic replacement when URIs don't accept easy REST style parameters
....all through a configuration screen with exports/imports....
