A very good and simple plug-in that saves time and energy when trying to use non-linked URLs from any web content.

It does have the problem of not recognizing https (Secure HTTP) links. This is an easy bug fix, and I have emailed the author to request a change.

Other than that, very good. If text is not recognized as a URL, it will attempt a Google search on whatever text is selected, making it easy to select-and-Google as well. The item is always positioned at the very top of the context menu for quick and easy access.

One major flaw Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Doesn't recognize https:// and adds http:// before it.

The add-on works as expected with one exception. It does not appear to correctly resolve the URI scheme (e.g. 'http://') portion of a selection of text. Instead, one should exclude this from the selected text. That is, select 'www.somewhere.net' instead of 'http://www.somewhere.net'.

Dont like it! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Does its job, but wish the new tab gets focus Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I appreciate this add-on, as I see a bunch of unlinked urls on a forum I frequent. And it's a little quicker than c&p in the address bar.

My only complaint is that opening the url in a new tab doesn't shift focus to the new tab or provide the option to do so. I actually emailed Sandeep, the creator, and he said he could add this feature in a future rev.

Always cool when developers keep improving their add-ons. Thanks, Sandeep!

This is what I wanted. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Too often I find an unclickable URL. Too often I want to go to this forbideen URL. I like right click menus that do what I want them to.
5 stars, and at least as many thanks!

useless, you can select the url an drag it to the address bar even or first on the tab you want to open it and then on the address bar by default, no extension required
