needs update

Please update for the new Firefox 3.6 for Mac! That has a similar in-built system but it's not as good! All my new tabs open on the far right. SO annoying when you are using some tabs in the middle of many tens of tabs..

This is one of two or three of THE most important add-ons of all for me. Browsers should have that behavior by default, and I can't work in any browser which doesn't have it. Big thanks to the author. Just asking to update it for 3.6. Thank you!

@n0ferz - Isn't that just Firefox default behavior? Just uninstall the addon. Problem solved.

Great addon, btw.

Please bring back normal tab opening (to the far right instead of next to the tab in question) there should be an option at least if you want to have this feature back instead of the new one.

Does what it says. I downloaded and tweaked it to work with 3.6, works fine.

Excellent feature to have.

Completely agree with Amanda, confused and frustrated with the update in FF3.6, bring back normal tab opening (on the far right)

Lightweight Plugin... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Amazing Plugin... Very lightweight and works pefectly on 3.5.

Non-functional in 3.6 Rated 3 out of 5 stars

@0nslaught, that about:config item is for new tabs opened from links only, not new tabs in general. And it already defaults to True.

Tab Control 0.5.3 does seem to do the trick just fine, and there are only a couple extra things in it, unlike Tab Mix Plus (overkill for some).

I don't like this update. I have the most recent firefox and the automatic "opening a tab to the right" is frustrating and confusing. I liked having the main page(s) I was searching grouped together on the left side of the tab bar and the tabs of things I wanted to look at on the right. Is there any way I can remove this add on?

Por favor saca una version para Mozilla Firefox 3.6. Cuando creas una pestaña nueva con Tabs open relative (Modified) 1.01 en vez de crearla al lado, la crea al final.

However the extension is ever unneeded since Firefox 3.6 -- just open "about:config" and set the key "browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent" to "true".

One of the most useful ones! But doesn't work with 3.6 even if max-version is fixed.

Great extension. I can't wait for it to be updated.

In the mean time, you can use this extension to open tabs to the right:

Tab Control 0.5.2

Working great here.

I just had to change the browser.tabs.tabMinWidth to 100.. not sure why. Could be extension or theme related.

Thanks, I'd love this for 3.6 as well. Firefox 3.6 does not do relative tabs anything like this extension and I can not work without it. Right now I'm suffering through Tab Mix Plus's implementation.

Thanks on 3.5, but update it for 3.6, please! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

In 3.5 it worked excellently:
instead of running to the end of the queue, the tabs opened nearby the current tab; it worked both for middle-click and for Control-T.
In 3.6 it makes no difference: whether this add-on is enabled or disabled, the behavior is the same:
relative on middle-click and far away on Control-T.
Take Control-T under your control again, please!

I love this very simple but intelligent feature that should be the default behavior...
please i need this addon on FF3.6!!!
