Tab Utilities Phoenix

Tab Utilities is a light but featureful extension for tabbed browsing. This add-on replaces the original extension which may no longer be maintained. Due to Mozilla's significant changes in the code base, I recommend the Pale Moon browser (Firefox fork) be used. Any bug fixes will only be published for that fork of Firefox. See below for more details.

Please remember to disable the old Tab Utilities add-on if you have it installed.

PLEASE READ!!!
NEW v.2.0.0 RELEASED!
THE OLDER VERSION OF THE ADD-ON WILL NOT WORK IN THE UPCOMING RELEASE OF PALE MOON (v27)! THIS VERSION FIXES THOSE ISSUES BY MERGING CODE FROM THE "Tab Utilities Fixed" EXTENSION! AS A RESULT, THE CODE MAY WORK IN MORE RECENT VERSION OF FIREFOX. HOWEVER, COMPATIBILITY WITH FUTURE VERSIONS OF FIREFOX IS NOT GUARANTEED, ONLY PALE MOON BROWSER ISSUES WILL BE ADDRESSED. (It is a fork of Firefox.)

Much of this code has been merged from Tab Utilities Fixed. I highly recomend you try the Pale Moon fork of Firefox. This add-on is known to work in Pale Moon (since I use it for my daily browsing needs) and in the event of any major compatibility issues with Pale Moon, I will try to provide fixes.

Please take this notice into account before submitting a 1-star report. Instead of blaming extension developers for feature breaks please ask Mozilla to stop forcing these changes that break existing funcionality. Australis should have been designed as a browser extension and should not have been a complete platform change. What made firefox great were its extensions and Mozilla is undermining that by constantly changing the platform under us. All extension developers can do is work endless hours just to keep the status-quo running. Releases should genuinely improve the software, not force developers into worrying about what features will break next in their extensions on every new release. Please tell Mozilla that it needs to listen to its users and its developers.

PALE MOON USERS:
The Tab Groups add-on is no longer needed for Tab Utilities to function. If you've already installed it, you may disable it at your discretion.

Tab Utilities is a light but featureful extension for tabbed browsing. A more lite version could be found at Tab Utilities Lite.
Supported locales: de, en-US, es-ES, it, ja-JP, pl, pt-BR, ru, zh-CN, zh-TW. More locales are available at Tab Utilities Locales.
