Tab Saver works great with all recent versions of FireFox, including 3.6.
Today's McAfee update cut my SSH2 communication to all my servers, so I chatted their support. They are IE-toadies and promptly dumped all open tabs in Firefox. Without Tab Saver, that would have been cause for MAJOR panic. Thanks to Tab Saver I simply opened an opentabs-....txt file in a spreadsheet and saved it as HTML. Instant web page with each lost tab a neat link.

Today was not the first time that Tab Saver saved my butt.

The only suggestions,
-NOT criticism or fix requests !!!-
I would offer is that you
1) put the name Tab Saver and version at the top of the opentabs files, to show which program saved the day.
2) save the file as html with clickable links.

Thanks for a great and very necessary tool!

What would be very cool to add is a tab saver to a document (word or anything really).
For people that do a lot of inter-related research with many tabs on many firefox windows open is to be able to save a whole windows worth of tab addresses to a document to be opened later. This is needed because at some point your resources become over taxed and at best slow operation, at worst a chrash. this would allow for one page to be saved and re-opend at a time rather than closing down and saving them all, and opening with the same resource headache.
you could save windows for a specific search theme seperate from other windows-search themes until resource problem is removed below resource problem threshold.
And if this 'document" could be opened and allow all the tabs to be opened into a new firefox window these search themes could be toggled off of resources (Memory) and back on as needed in an intelegent way.
hope this resonates with the Tab saver author :)
great app as is but this would make it awsome

Does not work on mac osX11 and firefox 3.6

Ditto on the shortcut saving. That shortcut is used by XMarks, and that takes control over the whole shortcut usage. This add-on is completely useless to me without some sort of manual (non-keyboard) tab saving or the ability to change shortcuts.

exporting to flash drive Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Can I export the saved tabs onto a Flash drive so that I can carry them from work to home?
Also, where do you keep the result of Control + Shift + S, and its filename is? Thanks a lot

I know I'm not the first to say this... But, please update Tab Saver for the newest version of Firefox! (Along w/ 'Speed Dial') This is an addon everyone should have. Once you're used to the ability to save tabs or restore them if/ when Firefox crashes, you won't know what to do without it. ~ Thanks!

Hi, I like the 3.5.1, but it doesn't have the tab saver. Would you please update 3.5.1 to add this feature? It is very missed I used it all the time whenever I go to bed and have to shut the browser down, but am still working on things. I have an HP Notebook with Vista Home.
Thank you very much!

It seems that home page address listed here for this addon does not exist. I hope the developer of this add on might have moved his website to some other place . Please update the webpage so that more support on this add on can be made available.
