Very good, but..... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Retaining the browsing history in new tabs opened from links is a must for me and should be a default option in FF. I do experience a conflict which I think its with Tab Mix Plus (although it might be a combination with another ext, I have a 100+). When I restart FF, some tabs reload to the previous url in the history, thereby loosing the current url for good with no way of recovering it back. I consider this a serious problem but admittedly a conflict and not a flaw from History Redux per se. So please consider this for the next version.

Also, I would like to request an option to disable the history retention in tabs opened from bookmarks and history items.

Bottom line...give it a try!

Simple, but very useful add-on. Thanks.

Like "Undo Close Tab Replacement" and "Close Tabs to the Right", simple and effective. Thanks.

EDIT: became buggy.

Nice, but this redux version has a major flaw. When opening a new tab, say from a bookmark or the searchbar, the history from the tab to its immediate left is loaded into it, when it should have no history at all. The old version didn't have this problem. I'm using ff5.0.1, windows xp and tabmix plus.

It's pretty nice but... Rated 3 out of 5 stars

There is a bug I found when using stumble upon. If I middle click the stumble upon button to open a stumble in a new tab and I open a link on the stumbled page in a new tab the history will go back to the page I originally clicked the stumble upon button at rather than the page I came from. It'd be really rad if this could be fixed.

I'll continue to use this just because it works most of the time, I just hope it's made to be a bit more compatible with other plugins.

Should be default in Firefox. For the Firefox 3.5/3.6 users, you shoud use the original Tab History : https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/tab-history

Force to install in FF3.6.17 Rated 3 out of 5 stars

How to force to install this add-on in my FF 3.6.17? 如何強制安裝此插件在火狐3.6.17上?

Bug Rated 3 out of 5 stars

So far the redux (version 1.2) still contains bug. Open Google, turn "Open search results in a new browser window" on. Click on any result without holding any key. The new tab will NOT have any history. Tested without any other extension installed.

Sweet. Works perfectly fine. Been subconsciously annoyed by this not being in by default, and just now I thought "There must be a plugin for this!". Excellent job. Thanks!

Thanks for taking over this addon! I was sad when the original Tab History stop working as I found it indispensable. This should really be a standard feature with FF. I'm using FF4 beta 9 and so far it seems to be working fine. Great job thanks again!
