It is great but it is missing one little thing Rated 3 out of 5 stars
It is great but it is missing one little thing, the user should be able to name the list of tabs. so the user can recall all tabs from a menu in Firefox related to lets say for example C++ research, Python research
Thank you ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
extremely useful for programmers who need saving many browser tabs and then choose them one by one to work, they can be stored for a long time, until you decide what to do with them.
Thank you very much.
Best from the very beginning Rated 5 out of 5 stars
5 stars, you handled storage a way better than others from beginning. Also as user crssi pointed out, can you change favicons to be pulled from duckduckgo?
Allmost to good to be true Rated 2 out of 5 stars
2 stars only because favicons are used over google, helping the evil to track domains of my interest. :(
Can author change this to duckduckgo?
Works perfectly so far. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Exactly what you`d expect and what I need.
In case you`re wondering and afraid to click the button a second time: All your tabs from the first "grenade"ing will be kept and presented in a different group in the grenade tab! (Though, just create a backup of your profile folder next time you`re afraid to attempt something like this)
Export Tab to File? Rated 4 out of 5 stars
would it be possible to export the grenaded tabs to an html file?
Currently, I cannot figure how I can get the referenced file at
resource://jid1-gzlhtgbcb5hzka-at-jetpack/tabgrenade/data/index.html. Is there a way I can do this? I have searched through my hdd, and I have come up empty.
BUG Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Tive o mesmo problema. Removi a extensão e reiniciei o Firefox com 130 abas abertas. TODAS ficaram como aba em Branco. E eu tive cuidado de primeiro limpar as abas que estavam no programa antes de remover a extensão!
Breaks NoSquint and Restart Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Restored tabs seem to somehow not register as the same tabs to NoSquint.
And restarting Firefox after using the addon replaces all but the first tab with "New Tab." I assume the problems are related.
OneTab is a similar addon that does not have these problems
. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
The only thing I use this for is to make webpages that store all my tabs that I want to go back to in the future. That alone makes this a great device for a variety of reasons!
Needs some work Rated 3 out of 5 stars
1. There needs to be a way to select some tabs to archive/'grenade' instead of just all. Maybe a ctrl-click/shift-click to highlight method?
2. 'Open All' needs to obey the standard FF behavior when the browser is started; populate the tabs with the addresses but only open the tab which has focus. Loading 30 tabs at once is almost never a good idea.
Works well Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Needs a method of accessing the grenaded tabs without grenading the current session.
Selective grenading may also be a good idea to implement.

This addon completely messed up all of my tab groups in panorama (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/tab-groups-organize-tabs). I've been organising my tabs like that for years.
The only option to get them back as tabs is "open all". I have 224 of them loading all at once. Best way to crush my browser.
Worst addon experience ever.
Cool but tricky Rated 3 out of 5 stars
All tabs erased and add-on stopped working when i used my history/free space cleaner (CCleaner)
Thought i had lost all my prized tabs, bad surprise, until i re-loaded tab grenade from mozilla and old tabs re-appeared.
Might want to save grenage page once in a while for safe's sake.
Only 3 stars because of this unstable issue, otherwise i love this addon, i don't even bookmark anymore, i just tab it...
Needs the ability to grenade only the selected tabs Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Seems good except it needs the ability to grenade only the selected tabs.
Great tool - just needs a search option Rated 4 out of 5 stars
whenever I close my browser for any length of time,
the tab grenade page comes back blank...
I usually have 5 or 6 browser windows open at any
I've not checked this to be certain but, I believe that,
if I hit tab grenade again, once I open the browser
windows, every single tab I've had open since I began
using tab grenade shows up....
I saw a post about tab grenade not working in the latest
version of FF...
if you have a 64 bit OS, try WaterFox (FF 64 bit browser)
WaterFox and Tab Grenade work perfectly together
Tab Grenade is a great solution to the bazillion open
tabs I usually have...
I'd request one additional tool/option for Tab Grenade...
Please add a search feature... I hunt through all of the
links and end up giving up and opening a new tab...
It´s just a web page, search with Cmd-F
Hi there, thanks for your review!
About the search, what I do is just use the normal browser find. Does that solve the problem for you?
Doesn't work in latest firefox Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Love it, but please make it work in the latest firefoxThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8.5.1-signed.1-signed).
Not Trustworthy - Months of Bookmarks Lost - Same As Other People - Your "Fix" Does Not Work. Rated 1 out of 5 stars
I am having the same problem. I have lost months of bookmarks. This is not good. I tried your fix (see below) - It does not work - This is an unstable, unreliable, untrustworthy add-on. I have Firefox version 35.0.1. and Tab Grenade 0.8.5
by bon on October 20, 2014 · permalink · translate
This add-on worked great until I navigated back to the tab grenade tab today and it was completely blank. There were hundreds of tabs in there that I'd been storing because I was trusting the add-on to do what it said - keep them intact for me. Losing my tabs defeats the entire purpose of this add-on, and I can't recommend trusting it now.

Your tabs are not lost
by Sergi Mansilla (Developer) on October 21, 2014 · permalink · translate
There is a known bug in which in some situations the tabgrenade page is blank after browser startup. Your tabs are not lost. If you click on tabgrenade again, your bookmarks will be back.

If you have collapsed the tabs once and click the button to collapse again it ends up a blank tab with nothing. Back page doesn't work. I tried finding out how to solve that, and couldn't. The github page says don't push the button again when already functioning, but it doesn't say what to do if we hit it by accident.
I lost nearly 15 tabs.
It was handy, but it wasn't worth losing my info, so I removed it promptly.

Solved in 0.8.4, and you never lose data.
by Sergi Mansilla (Developer) on June 22, 2014 · permalink · translate
This addon never loses data, your info would have been there if you close the tab and you hit tab grenade again. The problem is only visual and it should be solved in 0.8.4.
Rated 2 out of 5 stars
It's a really great addon, and I love the idea of throwing a grenade at all those open tabs! But it has one big feature missing, which makes it almost useless to me: it doesn't sync your old tabs page on your Firefox account. Add this feature and it's my favorite addon (alongside uBlock)!
Tab pages should be saved and double-backup-ed in your Firefox sync account, so you never lose them
Exporting bookmarks Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I love it. However, I had to reinstall FF and lost all my grenade bookmarks. Is there any way to export the saved links? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8.5.1-signed.1-signed).
GREAT WORK Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Quick request: let us change the hotkey (ctrl + alt + t). I have another addon with needs this combination.
Will use tab grande none the less.
