I was tired of having new tabs open next to the farthest right tab. Always dragging new tabs back to where I needed them got old, fast. I wanted something to make new tabs open to the immediate right of the current tab. Tab Control does that - no more, no less. Tried another add-on for this purpose, but that add-on had way too many bells and whistles - things I didn't want. This is perfect. Thank you!

Great extension. Focus left and always open to right of current tab (not far right) are soooooo useful. Firefox, build these in as options!

I am on Mac and thanks to this add-on, when I hit "cmd+t", a new tab opens right after the current tab: so much more useful than to have the new tab opening at the far right end!! Thanks.

Was having trouble with max width on my own. I see now that it's a %. 1000=100%

I'm so glad there's an extension that gives users the option of opening new tabs (as in, File>New Tab) relative to the current tab. Thank you!

Breaks Minefield 4 b7 - causes blank pages when switching tabs and/or incorrect tab content (e.g. tab text and url say one thing but show the contents of a completely different tab elsewhere). Otherwise great extension, wish I could use it with Firefox 4.

FF4? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Will this be ported to FF4? I am looking for a way to open all new tabs relative to the current tab; it’s disruptive to workflow to have CTRL/CMD-T tabs open way to the right.

Works well with one about:config change Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I found that this plugin works as expected with the about:config value browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent set to false (the default is true). With that, the plugin works beautifully.

Be advised, external links will open to the right of the current tab instead of at the very right (as is the default in Firefox).

Yes, TabMixPlus (and others) do "all this and more", but it's the "and more" that is the reason to use this add-on. Way less bloated than the others and doesn't interfere with other plug-ins as much.

I only give it 3 Stars because can't live without "close tabs to right".

obsolete - works fine, but TabMixPlus does all this and much more

Not sure what everybody's problem is, this works as described for me. Opens links to the right of current tab, and opens new tabs or application links as usual. Simple as that. Thanks for maintaining this.

Since FF 3.6 there is the problem of Ctrl-F4 closing two tabs at one when this add-on is installed. I registered at the author's TRac system, created a ticket, but his spam filter will not let me upload the debug infos he requested. When I asked for his e-mail address several times, he refused to send it to me. How stupid is that? I wasted so much time helping to debug this add-on and he just ignores it because he is so afraid of getting spammed by me.

I don't know if anyone cares but I searched around for this.

Default Firefox Min tab size = 100, Max = 250.

no more giant / tiny tabs :)

Otherwise great addon

FF 3.6 Incompatible Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Version 0.5.2 is not compatible with FF 3.6 as it shows in the description above. You will have trouble with tabs opening when using the search bar and bookmarks. FF 3.6 unfortunately is not flagging this addon as incompatible.

Great addon Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I´m waiting for the compatible version with 3.6, has middle click problems and the behavior of tabs (open new tabs to right of the current tab) its no longer necessary because is now default behavior in 3.6, now the option would be to go back to the painful and obsolete old behavior (open it in the far right).

Almost perfect! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

A most excellent, almost-perfect, add-on. Thank you! The only other thing this could do is when URLs are opened from somewhere other than a page, e.g. from other program, then it opens in a new tab at the end/right, rather than whatever arbitrary tab happens to be active.

Saty at v0.5 which works well with Second Search.

And I can't submit the bug to Author's wiki, always shows that potential spam...

Hope this will be fixed soon.
