Cool ! Many thanks for this ! ;)

Useless Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This "Add-On" does nothing "more" than switch the value of:

browser.link.open_newwindow

between 2 (multi Window) and 3 (single Window). Have first a look to:

http://kb.mozillazine.org/Browser.link.open_newwindow

before you install this useless Add-On and manage your setting by yourself in about:config.

Err - that's the whole point, clicking a button/menu option is far more convenient than going into about:config and battling the dragons

Excellent extension, most effective add-on in AMO when comes to catch JavaScript opened and any other types of new windows. If You don't want any window opened without your knowledge Switch Window Mode is for You. Works great with Tabberwocky and Tab Mixes extensions.

This extension messed up my "Compact Menu" button and I could not find a way to use the actual "window mode switching" functionality.

I had to restart Firefox in safe mode to be able to uninstall this extension.

Overall a bad experience ...

Un buen trabajo al crear extension de solo ventanas y pestañas, sirve y es muy util cuando te metes en sitios de juegos en los que tienen demasiada publicidad en PopUps. ¡Gracias!

Automatic switching? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very useful extension! Perhaps in a future release an automatic switching mode from a sites list...

C'est une extension, mais cette fonctionnalité devrait être intégrée à Firefox en standard. Indispensable !

This is an extension but it should be integrated in Firefox in standard. Essential !

Works great Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is great. I noticed that in eBay it worked on the text but not the images next to the text in a search listing. Still 5 stars though I've been looking for something like this forever and I am sure you will work out all the bugs over time.

Switch Window Mode breaks my "Tiny Menu" setup, forcing the whole alt menu to show, which has made me not use Switch Window Mode.

Is not really a single window mode. dunno about pop-ups but if i right click on something and choose open in new window, it does that :/

@Wayne King: the button for toggleing it is in the tools menu.

I give up. I installed it but where is the button? How do you use it? Is it a toggle?

Nice concept but seems to not work for me in FF3, e.g. middleclicking a bookmark still open a new window instead of tab.

I like it Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've been wanting this for years. Now I don't wind up with 15 layers of Amazon over my TV schedule (yes, I often forget Ctrl+T).
