I have problem in scrolling add-on options. Have you faced this, or it is just for me?!

It's working for me

It's working for me. Could you describe your issue and Firefox version?

This is the second add-on I've found which helps navigate to the right-left edge of a wide page. I second Mr Deof's opinion of counter-intuitiveness of the interface - so many check-boxes, but none can be checked! Ok, I found the way - select a line, then check the topmost box. But if I want to check many, I have to do it one by one, quite tediously, despite that multiple lines can be selected. Besides, when checking the bottom boxes, each time the slidebar automatically scrolls to top and again one has to scroll down manually. Most important, the selection of shortcuts is both fixed and NOT intuitive to keep in one's memory. For example, why, for navigation to the right edge of a page, you use 'L' and to the left - 'H'? I would prefer arrows, or at least 'R' for moving to the right. You'd better let users select by themselves shortcuts they deem most appropriate for a particular usage. I kindly invite you to look on Back-to-Top add-on, how this problem is solved there. I would have used that one, be it not for a bug.

It's strange that great addon is not more popular. Very useful!

Great idea, but a few minor peeves Rated 4 out of 5 stars

1) Customization of key combinations could probably be better implemented. At first, I got the impression that they weren't changeable at all when an attempt to click what looks like radio-buttons (I believe that's what they are called) failed to have any effect. Even after I figured it out, it seems like a counter-intuitive method. At the very least, it might help to include instructions in the "About this add-on" section on how to do so for those of us who aren't exactly the sharpest knives in the drawer.
2) I assume "meta" in Windows is supposed to be the Windows key. If so, this function appears not to work in Windows. While that might not be a fixable issue, it would be helpful to new users if such information was included in the "About this add-on" section.
3) The extension also lacks support for most non-alphanumeric keys (e.g., arrow and function keys).

Breaking news Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Breaking news.
Suddenly Surfkeys 0.6 started to work in Firefox 3.6.2. For a week it was broken, after I updated to the newest version of Firefox.
I swear I didn't make any adjustment. Hope you have the same experience.

Can you please update this to work with 3.6.2? This is the most important addon!

Very Useful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The latest version from SurfKeys homepage is compatible with FF3.*.

I've used this extension for years now... I use it to bind the keys to my PowerMate for smooth scrolling and such.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work on newer versions of FF (namely 3.0b4).

Also, I would give it 5 stars if it were easier to configure, but alas, it is not.
