Fun addon that is useful for people who sometimes just want to relax and aimlessly surf the web.
I stumble a lot, so this help's me share pages that I like
This tools if one of my favorite tools for bookmarking. I recommend everyone to used this because of its capability to share stories, news, and information across different nations and people online
StumbleUpon takes over the hotkey Ctrl+Shift+N which is incognito mode for firefox. There is no option to change this, which is awful.
The websites aren't terribly random (if you look at other stumblers likes you'll see that the vast majority of websites are seen by everyone, so its more like an app that automatically sends you to trending websites)
Stumble upon is a very good social bookmarking site that helps to get the visitors from USA
Any plans on updating this to SeaMonkey 2.21?
StumbleUpon is fun as well as great for promotion. Love this addon!
Wonderful, thank you very much!
A tool that helped me a lot in latest years, to promote and to build a strong community on my website. Besides that, SU has always helped me find new and innovative content online.
StumbleUpon is my most favorite website. I love its features. It's easy and fun to use. I love how it shows a thumbnail of your favorite websites on your personal page.
Thunderball must not know how to use this!
It's nice to "Stumble" from time to time just to broaden your interests.
Totally useless for finding INFORMATION on subjects of interest. It is only a SPAM add-on that only shows search results of high priced useless junk for SALE.So after trying to find if there was any hidden settings that blocked any useful INFORMATION, and finding none, I uninstalled it . Junk/SPAM add-on. Should be removed from the Mozilla add-on site.
I discover articles that I would never find on my own.
StumbleUpon will be no fun till this is fixed :(
Trust me it wont. I've followed all the standared instructions, reset my password, even reinstalled the thing. It knows I'm logged into the site, but the bar just won't log me in. (I've had this problem on both windows and linux.) Though, yes the idea is like perfect.
StumbleUpon would not be the same without the add-on. The add-on practically makes the site.
A brilliant application that lets you share the pages you like on StumbleUpon, nice job people!
THIS IS AMAZING
Every time I install Firefox, Stumbluepon is the first extension I add. The reason isn't the usual; it's not so much to discover new sites as it is to share things among family members. I see a product we could use, and I stumble it to my husband. I see a tech joke and I send it to my son. I do use it occasionally for traditional stumbling, too, but it's hands down the best tool I've found for easily sending pages to people I know. I can even send it to people who don't have Stumbleupon now that they've added stumble-to-email support.
I am really conflicted here. I have loved SU for years and I really have gotten a ton of good use out of it. I have found all kinds of good material on it and my busy schedule has kept me from spending more time on place like SU. That facet merits a true 5 star rating and I salute them for a job well done!
What is the problem? I have contacted them about some bugs- especially the jumpy icon issue and the problem is their employees. Similar Web had the exact same jumpy icon flaw and when I wrote them they made a fix relatively quickly and we all lived happily ever after. In fact, I run 100+ add-ons and every other developer has figured out how to have a stable add-on. If they don't I simply kick it to the curb. Things either work or they don't. I teach tech and one of the most liberating things I tell people is that they often times are NOT bad with tech. The problem is the tech they use is messed up. If things worked as advertised it would be a breeze.
When I write the SU people it takes them a long time to respond and they have no idea what I am talking about. I send them information such as my browser, OS... and a week or so later they ask for it again. I send it and they ask for it again and ask for screenshots. I send those and they STILL can't figure it out. They then ask for my browser, OS and maybe some screenshots...This has happened more than once. I had forgotten about what happened the first time and when I write them back it was "Here we go again... Uggghhh...."
The bottom line is there is some amazing material that the community has posted but the employees that I have spoken to have some really dim bulbs...
I'm a daily user of StumbleUpon and love it. I don't have any of the issues that I am seeing people write about. It works great and I am still happy with it.
The only times I had problems with Stumble was due to browser issues. I had problems with it freezing up when I was using Firefox so I switched to Chrome and problem solved. Then with Chrome I found that if I clicked the back button it would jump two pages and being this was over six months since using Firefox, I switched back and Firefox seemed to have fixed there issues and problem solved. I don't see these issues being Stumbles fault. And with anything computer related there are bound to be issues now and again so I am not upset with Firefox or Chrome since I was able to find solutions easily.
There are not more than five stars to rate it, actually it deserve more stars.
