This post in the Mozilla forum explains how to make this (or other) theme compatible with Personas:

Kudos to Rob64rock and Spunker for the tip.

There's no reason why Windows users should have all the looks!

Coming home with a small problem Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very nice ! Feels like "coming home" after spending so much time on XP !!

I am running Linux Mint 9 with Xfce RC.

Xfce, by default, uses a dark charcoal gray background with white text for the title bar and the "File Edit" toolbar.

The Strata XP theme correctly changes the background colors of all of the toolbars to shades of light gray, but leaves the text white on the "File Edit" toolbar, making it almost impossible to read. The text for the Location and Bookmarks Toolbars are light gray background with black text.

How do I get Firefox to override the default white text on the "File Edit" toolbar.

Color scheme Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I think it would be nice to have this theme using the system color scheme. Since this is mostly a linux theme i think it should follow the gnome/gtk color scheme, like the default theme (or may be even the qt/KDE one, but i think i'm asking too much now eheheh). As i understand for now colors are just fixed to a light grey (but the bottom bar still follows my gtk color scheme).

Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx)
1 annoying problem, 2 non-annoying problems.
(the annoying problem) Buttons which produce menus when clicked (e.g. the Adblock Plus button) are about 6px too big in each direction, but I cannot locate the problem using DOM inspector.

(non-annoying problems) I also noticed some problems with the toolbars, and many problems with the history and bookmars sidebar buttons. i will post more after i finish cataloging those problems.

Under Ubuntu Lucid Lynx 10.04 this Theme does not work well. The black title bar and menu bar are grey with this theme which makes everything hard to read and there are lines separating the navigation bar and the bookmarks bar which look awful. This is a pity as I really like the single back and forward button of this theme.

I gave this theme another try, since I did not like the previous version.
Well, now it is my default theme.
Thanks, it is very good.

P.S. Do you plan a "Strata Vista" for Linux, too?

Folder icons are missing here as well. I also don't see generic icon for bookmarks (when bookmark doesn't have its own icon).

With the version 2.0 on Firefox 3.5.1 I can't see the folder icon on the boomarks menu bar. This theme is awesome, I hope you fix this small problem.

Thank you for a wonderful theme! All of the previous Strata themes caused problems in Linux such as malformed options tabs, missing menu icons etc. This one is great! I only wish it had the small strip between the tabs and the webpage to give a bit of visual separation, but I just used the Tab Height script for Stylish to make them a bit larger, almost the same thing. Thanks again!

I like the Back/Forward buttons in green, just the way it was in XP. This theme is simple and awesome.

Looking forward to getting this for Firefox 3.5, whenever that is. :)
