I don't get the storeTab icon in the tool bar and the darn thing is enabled in the Add-ons page.
An excellent little addon that saves time whenever Firefox decides to crash on you. Or when you have several windows open and close the wrong one last hehe.
The only thing I would like to see added is that it remembers (and restores) pinned tabs. =)
Nice addon !
Would be VERY useful if we could store more than one sessions. Additionally, change the menuitems order. Set the "Restore" menuitem on Top position, cause the "Store" menuitem may accidentally be clicked.
Well I hope we will see that this addon being more accuarate when all tabgroups is saved. Now it is not.
Got no answer at all on this question, two months ago. "I do not dare to test, but is my tabgroups being restored too, not just the latest tabs in a singel window, with this addon?"
Tabgroups is not restored...
Very nice and useful addon. I wish it would allow multiple tab sets for different purposes. Please add this feature if you update the extension.
Really nice extension here.
I am one of those who uses "Show my windows and tabs from last time". With this I get two for the price of one. I can save a set of tabs with yours and close them, then open my normal tabs I work on every day and let Firefox handle those. Then, when I need that second set I use your button.
Mind if I make a suggestion for a possible future update? If for example I save 10 tabs and close 2 of them, if I click your button to reopen my saved tabs it should *only* replace the two I closed - NOT open up the same 10 tabs all over again giving me 8 duplicates.
Also, maybe change the color of the "store/restore" button to indicate that we have a "saved set of tabs" so I don't overwrite my saved set accidentally. Like green when empty and "ready to save", blue when you have a set saved and are "ready to restore" - something like that whatever you prefer.
Thanks again for this sweet addition to my collection.
i love it but why not work with firefox 8 yet
i haven't tried, but when you store tabs, are tab groups saved, or just the open window?
Exactly what I was looking for. Works great with FF 5.0. Just drag button up next to the menu titles.
Great Addon, but i've been using it for a few days and I have a couple of suggestions. The first is that the icon makes the bar bigger when you put in it and it gets very strange (and big!). Maybe you should consider changing the icon or its height and width, don't know... The other is the fact that when you click the icon you must choose one of the two options, but would be great to have separated icons for this, or even better just click and save, then click again and restore.
quicker & reliable than other session store addons , But not as much useful as it was before ,
Because "Show my Windows & Tab From Last Time" has became a necessary config in FF
Other add-ons fot storing Tab are too hard to use.
A great addon. Does what says, very handy indeed. If the addon doesn't show on your toolbar when you install the addon, you may have to right click on your toolbar and click customize and drag the storetab icon on your toolbar. Once there its very simple indeed to use. you could have open many tabs and then its just a click on the icon and save tabs, that's it done, you can close and reopen your browser many times, and when your ready for your tabs back, just click the icon again and restore tabs. You can restore the same set of tabs again and again, just as long as you don't save more tabs on top, as its only a 1 set store and restore, which makes it such a simple and very effective addon.
Thank you, does just what it says and has come in very handy indeed.
thanks for your reply, I quote it on the extension's description.
Great Plug In.... What would be wonderful is to be able to name a storetabs collection so that it can be individually recalled latter... This would be like the ability to save a work space or environment at the end of a work period then start the browser over for another un related project or use and days latter come back to the your first project and restore than browser environment...
I find that extension useful in case of emergency to avoid clutter. You can save current set of tabs simply by pressing a button, then close them all, switch yourself to work on different projects and when ready revert to the closed set just by pressing a button. Simple, not intrusive and effective thing.
um i think its a built in firefox options in general.
