It saves alot of time when watching guides and heavily sponsored content, but recently the addon stopped auto skipping even though it's enabled. - Rated 5 out of 5by myedition8, 9 months ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Chris, 9 months agoCouldn't submit a merch segment that was totally unmarked without having to install discord because the video was closed, works fine otherwise.
Edit: Seems server was just slow for me, segment shows up fine now, so I've revised my review. BTW, in my opinion you should add the site link you sent me to the error dialogue box since it's not listed anywhere I can find otherwise.
Thank you for this script :) I use it a lot.Developer response

- Rated 5 out of 5by Roland, 9 months agoAwesome extension that pairs well with other YT adblockers. Works so well for a crowdsourced operation and skips right over sponsored ads that I did not expect it would work for.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13915874, 9 months agoWorks most of the time. suspiciously I sometimes need to reload ltt videos for it work, almost feels like money flowing under the table.

posted 9 months agoIf any "money" was being paid, why would it still skip after a refresh?
Auto-refresh was disabled due to it creating a very high server load. I may try to figure out how to get it working again in the future. - Rated 5 out of 5by Vít Janeček, 9 months agoSo cool. Intuitive and almost effortless both for both using and submitting. Since many people submit, rarely ever does it happen that some timing is incorrect, in fact, I've only encountered this once in my months using this extension.

- Rated 5 out of 5by PukeyLuke, 9 months agoThis app is worthy of the current 4.9 star rating and my 5 stars. It's so easy to install and then you're watching a video and all of a sudden it jumps forward a minute or two to miss the sponsored promos YT creators insert into their videos. The first few times I had to rewind to make sure SponsorBlock had got it right, and sure enough it was correct to the second. I no longer question it when SponsorBlocks skips forward in the video as it is always so accurate.

posted 9 months ago:( if you are claiming that sponsors are not marked on specific channels I "like", then that is not true. that would be very dumb of me as it would ruin the whole point of making this addon, which is for me to be able to skip the sponsors on my favourite channels... those would be the last channels I'd want not to be skipped.
Videos are "locked" from getting new segments when all the segments have been submitted to prevent spam. I don't know your exact situation, but you are probably mad by either
1. a decision to leave in a certain sponsor disclosure that is required knowledge for the video due to it being required to know the bias of the speaker in the video (example: a fully sponsored "review" about a product, you can't just skip the sponsor disclosure). In the future, there will be a way to add a label to the thumbnail to make it clear that this video is too sponsored for sponsorblock to help with.
2. that segment is actually under the self promotion category but for some reason you believe it should instead be sponsor (just enable that category in settings to skip those too)
3. It is a new video, someone submitted stuff before you and you need to refresh - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 17141374, 9 months ago
