FF 53, doesn't seem to work at all, nothing happens when I click on "install"
The Add-on sounds great but it seems that it does not work with an actual Version of Firefox. Spellchecking is activated in general, just like the add-on itself. But nothing has changed at all and I don't see a way to actually use it. :-(
I'm sure it's a great addon. How can I use it though now that the status bar is discontinued? I would also pay/donate for it.
Works beautifully on FF 32. Thanks!
(4/5: no highlight options)
I loved this addon! Is there any chance to see it work with Firefox Quantum?
Perfect! Lightweight and straight to the point. No bells, no whistles. That's how I like my plugins! Great work!
I was looking for a good spell checker to proof sites I have developed before going live and this tool is brilliant. Its nice that it uses the built in spell checker so i can select which dictionary to use. It would be nice if it could highlight the wrongly spelled word rather than just underline it as fonts are hard to see if they are wrong.
Works as advertised. Lightweight and straight-forward. I LOVE it, so useful. Note, it now lives in the 'add-on' bar since the status bar is gone in FF in case you can't find it.
Great idea. Now if only it would also spellcheck Photoshop and other primarily non-text-oriented programs that aren't Firefox for me
Works great with Dictionary Switcher 1.0.1 (will most likely work with Dictionary Switcher 1.3.1, however that version doesn't work correctly with Firefox).
Simply install desired dictionary's and use Dictionary Switcher to change to the desired dictionary to spell check the page in any language, not just the default language.
Only problem I found is the text color for enabled/disabled does not follow the installed theme, black for off, dark green for on.
This is just what I needed for my job which involves looking at titles to make sure they meet a set of guidelines. It's so nice to not have to search for misspellings. Thank you!
Absolutely fabulous - exactly what I've been looking for! Simple and brilliant idea to use existing dictionaries; Thanks to the author!
