First of all great job!
It is possible to update to firefox 57+?
Thank you! Unfortunately it's not possible. The new add-on architecture does not allow modifying the add-ons manager page (with good reason!).
A great complement to Vertical Tabs Reloaded https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/vertical-tabs-reloaded/ and sidebars.
One of the best add-on i have seen till now, it save space and working really in a great mode
it saves space and works really great.
it saves space and looks great
Really helpful considering I have quite a lot of addons installed, this addon makes everything more manageable.
There is only one thing missing: When one addon is selected the addon should show this item in the default state. This would be some kind of "expand when selected" mode.
Installed on FF x64 v. 47.0.1
not working on FF 44
Did exactly what was described and pictured on the add-on's description page. - Despite other reviews from last year, I am using this add-on in 2016 with the most recent updates to Firefox, and am having no issues with it working.
Only took a fraction of a second to install after selecting to do so, and when I immediately clicked on my already-open add-on manager tab, it had already been slimmed-down - less than a second! No restart need. A great add-on - simple, effective, and easy to use. Clearly stated, and executes it's function just the same.
Basically it just moves the text that's usually displayed under your add-on's icons and titles to the right of their icon and title, and shrinks all the icons to fit within the newly-created single-line-per-add-on format.
The only complaint I have is that I would rather have the icons be a little larger than what they are made to be, since the icons are what I initially look for when searching for an add-on while scrolling through the manager. It looks like this could be done within the space provided for each add-on after everything has been slimmed down. Doing so might make the clearance between the icon and the top and bottom borders of each add-on's section a little tighter, and possibly less attractive as a result, but I think if you were to move the titles a little to the right a bit, this would reduce or negate that effect.
Otherwise, I have no complaints at all. Best experience I've had with any add-on yet. No issues with things not performing as expected or having to mess with the settings to figure out how to get the result/ function I wanted, no discrepancy between how it was described to work and how it actually performed.
Thank you very much!
I investigated what I could do about increasing the icon size. By only using 2px more height, I could increase the size to 32px.
Expect a new version soon!
EDIT: Version 12 is up!
Just installed this in Pale Moon and it works great. Love it! Thank you, Andreas!
Muito bom, funciona perfeitamente no Firefox 36 :D , tenho muitos complementos 28 no total, isso me agrada :)) .
Português - Brasil
I've tried it on both Firefox and Pale Moon. No issues so far.
Looking great Thanks Andrea ! :)
Наконец список дополнений приобрёл вменяемый вид! Спасибо разработчику.
Does exactly what it says - very good idea! :D
This is perfect for my tiny netbook! Especially since it seems everything in browsers and webpages are made for such huge monitors. This is an excellent plugin to see. Thanks for making it.
Works in Seamonkey. I used to use Cleanest Addon Manager but it doesn't work in SeaMonkey and FF is getting too much like IE and Chrome.
Brilliant little plugin, works as advertised. Definitely improves the add-on manager by removing unnecessary space!
Works as expected
Works as described.
Thank you, works as described!!
Yes I know ... I'm just being lazy.
Sometimes I have a lot of add-ons so it means scrolling down a long list to find Slim :-D
Thanks for your response.
Works as it should. No Surprises. GREAT! FF 16.0.2
