Simply awesome Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is the best Add-on I have ever used. It is very time efficient and productive. This Add-on saves me a lot of time and makes browsing very quick. You can add all of your favorite website in it. And then simply visit your website by pressing alphabets. Now I can visit any website faster than my colleagues do. This Add-on eases my internet related workload and allows me to enjoy browsing instead of getting bored. It totally changes my browsing experience.

Groups and Hotkey Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It would be nice to be able to rearrange the order of the groups. The hotkey for Shortcut this page - Ctrl+Space+s only works as that hotkey, if changed to anything other than s it does not work. Keep up the great work.

I have found that this add-on is one of those that, after using for a few days, leave you wondering how you got along without it.

One of the best additions to FireFox.

Now, that this most important addon of my daily browsing is finally compatible with the newest Firefox, I can update from FF4 to FF8 at last. Thanks for the good work!!! Keep it up (to date ;-))

Finally, Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I managed to get it to work under ubuntu 11.4 / FF7.1. I disabled the Ubuntu extension for FF, and that did the trick. I still think we deserve to be directed on things even this easy.

The latest version works perfectly with Firefox 7. I consider this extension essential to my day to day browsing. There are so many useful options. Thanks to the developer for keeping it updated.

Forgotten Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Despite the promising Twitter message from 8 Jul ... I think we have been forgotten! This is a great add-on but the delay in updating leads one to consider other options.
Important news regarding SiteLauncher soon - we haven't forgotten you tweeps! SiteLauncher will be coming back bigger and better than ever

FF5 workaround for workaround Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I had the same problem as critStock where I couldn't add, edit, delete, import, or export any shortcuts. To get around this, I found the shortcuts.xml in my firefox profile (through a file manager - finder on mac, or explorer on windows) and was able to edit the entries in there.

Each shortcut has a key, title, url, groupId, iconData, iconDataSmall, iconDataLarge, and iconSource that can be defined. Copy&paste an existing shortcut and edit as needed.

FF5 workaround doesn't work Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Thanks to sandarian for the workaround instructions. Although the xpi installs normally, it doesn't work: the sitelauncher manager is empty, and shortcuts cannot be added. (Win XP SP3) I really hope there will be an official update to this wonderful extension!

Hello, I like SiteLauncher very much, but unfortunately it does not work for FireFox 5 yet.Until a fix is available, I recommend to check out the plugin ShortCutKey2URL at https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/shortcutkey2url which has similar functionality, perhaps with a little less eye candy. It works with Firefox 5. Hit Ctrl-Q (which is the default hotkey) twice to get to the menu and toggle the checkbox to enable the overview of currently available shortcuts to appear like in SiteLauncher when hitting hotkey the first time; additionally hotkey can be changed, if needed.

I hope the author will not get offended by this workaround review, once SiteLauncher is upgraded, I will return to it.

I'm running OS X 10.6.8. I used muCommander to modify the install.rdf file. After doing this, I dragged the .xpi file onto FF 5.0. Firefox still says that this add-on is incompatible.

When you open the add-on prefs, the window is cut off on the right side, you can't add any new shortcuts, and you can't see any existing shortcuts (if you had defined some with an earlier version of FF).

Bottom line: at least on a Mac running OS X 10.6.x, I don't think this add-on will work, even after modifying the file.

If ANYONE finds a work-around to this for the Mac, PLEASE post it for us all.

I've given this 5 stars still because it's one of the most useful FF add-ons I've ever used. Let's hope the author will update it soon!
