Nice. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Use it together with the Ident. Button Colors. It is for sure more pretty the have the sites Favicon up together with the Ident.

Great job in bringing back the "old" domain highlighting for secure sites. However, could you make the domain highlighting display as in the 3.6 series? I've attached a screenshot of how it was in 3.6 and how it is now.

I know you've already mentioned that the padlock should be left alone. Would appreciate it if the padlock icon could also be removed. Thanks!

Great extension, totally needed to make the URL bar useful again after the recent mayhem caused by the loss of both the favicon and the site identity block-thanks.

Great work!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent add-on!! I missed the color highlighting and the reassurance it brought. Restoring that is both informative and aesthetic. If you somehow can consolidate this with site favicon restore as well, it would be even better.
Well done!!!

Thanks...

I sincerely appreciate the kind words.
Now a canned response :)

There's a developer working on an add-on that returns the favicons and restores highlighting.
I'll announce it here in the description when he releases it and try to notify all those requesting it.
They'll be no need to continue to use this add-on once his is released.

The funny thing is I am almost done migrating from Failfox to Palemoon and I discovered this one because I still have work to do. The ridiculous idea of putting the strange mysterious gray object is yet another bad idea in a long string of them by Mozilla.

Thank you for quickly spotting this and issuing a fix to their stupidity!

** EDIT** I just put it on PM too. PM skipped the gray object mistake but I like the strong color option. This looks like a keeper!

** EDIT 2** It definitely is working in PM and I believe strongly that it is the community that is going to keep things afloat. Thank you for having your thinking cap on!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6).

Thanks for the rating

If it doesn't already work in PM, it should be easy enough to get it to.
For the record, there's a developer working on an add-on that returns the favicons and restores highlighting.
I'll announce it here in the description when he releases it.

Very cool

That's a cool userstyle.

There's a developer working on an add-on that returns the favicons and restores highlighting, so I'll probably stop further development on this add-on when he releases it.
I just wanted to offer a quick fix.
I'll announce it here in the description when he releases it.

This is fantastic for FF14. Thank you.
Any chance you can do favicons instead of these stupid globes and padlock icons too?

Thanks for the rating and kind words

I was wondering where this went. I'm glad its back!

Not quite enough yet Rated 3 out of 5 stars

It'd be nice to also have the site's favicon back in the address bar as well, a feature that was stupidly removed in Firefox 14 without any way to reenable it in about:config. Yes I have favicons in tabs, but I hide tabs when there's only one in a window, and for those cases I want the favicon back. I appreciate that this undoes some of the dev team's stupidity, but it needs to do more.

Nice addon! Good workround!

Thanks!

I've updated the add-on and it now addresses mixed content for sites like https://www.google.com/reader.
