Google has the same goal with youtube upselling. They don't want the money. They want the transactional history data from your financial instrument.
Registering for free use of DeepL is web-only. Craft the extension to scrape the web interface - Rated 5 out of 5by Arian Castillo, a year ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Sam, a year agoThis is a great extension. You can set Simple Translate to automatically translate on highlighted text with two target languages; for example, auto-translate between English & Spanish. You can manually select from many more languages being it uses Google's or DeepL's API.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18197746, a year agoExcellent addon. Thank you!!
I have a suggestion that should be quick to implement and would help some people (like myself) a lot:
When translating single word, check if its a noun and in languages with gendered nouns, also display the gender. For example translating "Zeit" in German would result in time (feminine).
One of my main uses of Simply Translate is to help me with learning new languages (I usually read news or something I'm interested in) and this would help me out so much.
Either way, thank you for creating this addon. It's really perfect - does precisely what I need and does it well. - Rated 5 out of 5by antoru, a year ago
