Could be better Rated 3 out of 5 stars

It worked but at first i couldnt figure out how. turns out i have to highlight the masked password and then click the button, toggling it will make the highlighted masked password visible. So again, a bit convoluted for a process that should remain much more simplified but i do appreciate it does in fact work, unlike so many other similar addons on mozilla that are broken. this one does actually work.

Great, thanks for the addon works flawlessly on nearly everything.
For those crying about the image missing , use this to get your status bar back and see the image :

need an option "always show passwords"

Show Pasword does not work with FF 45.0.2 Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Can't see the enabling image, doesn't work. This was wonderful when I could see the enabling image.

Does not work. Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I am using firefox 45.02

Works great with FF 44.0 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works exactly as advertised. Click on the icon on the statusbar: Tataaaa - you can see your forgotten password instead of the bullets. Great!

Does not work for Writer's Cafe.

Useful tool, works fine for SeaMonkey (but not for FF 37?) Rated 4 out of 5 stars

And after conversion with SeaMonkey add-on converter (Info: <>) the add-on version1.7 also works fine with with German SeaMonkey 2.33.1 Build 20150321194901 on German WIN7 64bit
Only in few cases, for example Persona Login on <> in login popup I can't get visible characters.

But that is much better than in FF 37, where the add-on seems not to work at all. I do not see the icon in the FF Status bar.

Used to be VERY helpful Rated 2 out of 5 stars

This was a great add-on until the status bar disappeared in FF29. Now there is no option to put the icon elsewhere so in reality there is no point to this add-on. It's sad really as this was helpful in figuring out what had been typed in PW boxes. On a computer that you or only those you trust very much, it was great to have the passwords showing. Thankfully Saved Password Editor still works but it is only helpful for those passwords you have saved. If you've not saved it and have just registered for site and used a long, complicated password but cannot see it, you're out of luck. I will be looking for a replacement add-on I guess.

Like the extension; please restors previous icon Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Title says it all. The previous Key icon was bigger and stood out more compared to the new but unimproved icon. The new icon "gold" key is way too small.

Stopped working in FF 29 Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I can still activate it In FF 29, but since there is no more status bar the icon of this add-on does not appearing in the new location. As a work around I use the "Saved Password" add-on, but I prefer that "Show password" is fixed because it is one click faster.

Works great Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Does exactly what it says it will do, and easy to use.

OK, but.... Rated 3 out of 5 stars

This thing defaults to not showing the password, and there's no way to change that. Also, When you click on the status bar icon and the dot turns red, it works only once. If you want it work on another site, you have to click it back to blue then again to red. Maybe one day they'll remove this niusance.

Good Concept , Gr8 addon. Possible Improvements Or maybe feature requests:1) Isnt it possible to make it permanently show passwords, bcoz people mite not at all be in any need of hiding passwords2) Say i visit site , i click on icon to show passwords on that page. The icon changed to red color. All fine till here. Now i open a new tab and visit site , now if i wish to see passwords on this site, then i need double click the icon, so that it 1st changes its color to blue and then red back again.I had to shift back to "show my password" just bcoz of the confusion double clicking creates. "Show my password" shows password on mouseover which i am not to comfortable with , also note double clicking is not a big thing but it certainly disrupts ur workflow when on one site u have single click and on other u have to double click. So plz look into this bug also.My Suggestion if u cud implement an option to always show passwords everywhere then it cud be a big feature(provided it stays as light as it now)

Another suggestion u mite consider is leave this addon concept as it is while make a new addon for always showing password if it interferes or cud induce bugs.
