So far this add on has not worked. Rated 1 out of 5 stars

So far this add on has not worked. If I go directly do the Pronto web site I get a pop up asking for a user name and password. I have yet to find any place to sign up to get a user name and password. If I use the search bar I can get to a product page at Pronto (and still get asked for a user name and password) for the item I am searching for but I can't add it to any shopping list. There is never a link w/icon to add to shopping list for any item I have searched for. The icon in my status bar says that if I left click on it I can add to a shopping list - it does absolutely nothing when I left click! A right click on that same icon gives a menu to view shopping list, open side bar, help, and about. All those right click functions work just fine, but the shopping list both in the sidebar and when opened on its own is empty because nothing else works as either the instructions or the YouTube demo explains. To top it off for a certain HDTV pronto says it's on sale at Target for $239 but when the link to the item at Target is clicked on the Target page says the price is $299 - not very helpful for finding where to buy at the best price. Unless I find a way to make this work and not get a pop up asking for user name/password that stops me from accessing anything else in firefox until I close it over and over and over until it goes away, I will be uninstalling this add on. Too bad 'cause it seemed like a good idea with useful functions.

Compatability Problems

My apologies for your having so many problems. This add-on has been serious broken since FF 3.0 as they changed some interfaces and I had not updated the code to be compatible. I've neglected this add-on for a couple years while life got in the way. However, I've just updated the add-on, though there will be a delay as it goes through the review process by Mozilla. The latest version will show as 1.4 when it is available.

I design and make clothing and jewelry, and require so many small items just to complete a simple project. I was going nuts trying to keep track of which web site had which products, and price comparisons were a pain. Then I found Shopping Helper.
This is one of the most useful add-ons for Firefox that I have found. The Pronto.Com website does have quite a bit of what I am always having to buy. When I can't find what I need at Pronto.Com, it's a no-brainer to add products from other sites to the shopping or wish lists in Shopping Helper.
I keep my lists organized by the items' purpose or by other categories.
If you shop on the Web, I highly recommend this add-on.

Great Money Saving Plug-In Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Need a new pair of jeans but don't want to pay full price? I loved the day that I came into work and received a subtle ALERT message from the Shopping Helper telling me that this pair of NY&Company pants I had on my Wish List had just gone on sale from $50.00 to $20.00!!

Simply add an item to your wish list by left-clicking the SH icon and wait for a subtle "ALERT" to flash at the bottom of your browser. You can add any product from almost ANY website. Sometimes the SH may need a little help finding the image, title, and price but no worries, just right-click each element to tag.

The SH has already saved me a lot of money and will do the same for you. Download now!!

Nice software, though adding an item you want to track feels a little involved.
