I still love it. Extremely useful and easy to use.
An excellent screenshot tool.
Very fast and efficient. Much smaller than Nimbus Screen Capture (but not as many features).
The downsides are that the toolbar icon does not look right in the menu panel and it sometimes has trouble capturing the entire page that does not fit within the screen.
They did not respond to support requests, but it's free, so can't expect too much.
I was excited to see that this exported to One Drive but that is a joke. It asks for permission to access your One Drive but then it just goes to a frozen app page that only has the join button. I click on the join button but nothing happens.
Does not capture dynamic content such as Youtube videos.
Sorry, but that is a limitation of Adobe Flash, nothing to do with Firefox or Shooter.
been using this since i was able to screenshot pretty much everything. but the recent firefox update broke it.
I've updated the addon from here then restart. Removed addon and reinstall. Made a different profile but I still end up on a white screen. any upcoming updates?
EDIT: awesome! thank you!
Yes, it is fixed in the 1.3.5 version, scroll down on the main page, click on "Version Information", then on "See complete version history". This way you'll be able to install the new version untill Mozilla reviews it.
it seems it's not working anymore in Firefox 29
We just released version 1.3.4 which will make Picozu Shooter compatible with Firefox 29. Thank you for using Picozu!
Perfect. This is one of my favorite addons which I use a lot.
The best screen-shotting addon for Firefox!!!!
EDIT : After reporting a little bug, a few hours after, the bug is fixed. This is really impressive, great developer inside :)
Probably the best screenshot extension in firefox !
OLD TEXT : it seems it's not working anymore in Firefox 17.0.1 on OSX Snow Leopard : the download file is blocking : if you cancel and restart the download, it works...
Sorry about that, it was something that totally slipped my mind, it's fixed now. Thank you for reporting the issue. :)
This is the only screengrabber that works on FF18 now - Super fast support and it does exactly what it says it does. It's also one of the few screenshot programs that reformats the file-save name so that you don't have to edit it. Thanks :)
This is a great tool! It's nice you can copy the selection, instead of only saving it, like another add-on does.
I do miss one thing (using FF 9.0.1) and that's the option to adjust the selection. If there were some handles around the selection to adjust its dimensions that would be great!
And like Lilyca mentioned, and indication of the dimensions would be a super addition as well.
I think Shooter is a nice tool.
This one has the potential to be the best screenshot add-on EVER!
Here is what I miss:
- Show the dimensions (in pixels) of the selected area
- Keyboard shortcut
The icon is cute, but the button for the default toolbar is not following the same pattern (size and border) from other extensions.
Thank you for using Shooter. The shortcut to open Shooter is CTRL+ALT+S.
I will take your ideas in consideration for the next updates.
Good extension, But it can not save full snapshots of web pages which wider than a FireFox window. It successfully saves all the vertical area of a page, include the hidden scrolling area at bottom, but it can't save the full horizontal area when there is a horizontal scrolling. All right area which wider than window width will be cropped. This is really problem for low-res displays like width 1024..1280 pixels.
The BEST screenshot captor is up to date again, thankfully. I hope it continues now to update for every future version of FF. No other tool is capable to shot an entire page, beyond the seen web page. Abduction is the only one besides Shooter who does this, but not so smooth as Shooter, who presents also very nice options. My previous bad rate was only because this great tool kept disabled upon some FF upgrading.
Working great on my iMac, nice to see a screen grabbing addon that does not require specific DLLs, thus making is cross-compatible. Thanks
Very nice addon, also the integration with Pixtastic is a nice adition.
It won't shoot a BIG page - out of memory error.
Thank you for your input, but unfortunately that is a Firefox issue, nothing that can be done on my side.
Loving it so far, I've been using it on my Ubuntu PC and I haven't found a rival for it. Nice job Marius.
Best screenshot-ing addon available, been using it for about two years, love it.
do not work with ff_5 :( after You select the area to save and click [safe] nothing goes on
А будет версия для Firefox 5?!
Not for FF5. It is sad. :(
finally a FF-screenshoter that really works and keeps it's promise!
no nag-screens, no registration, no tracking or redirecting, no data-collection, no useless stuff!
well done simple and fast it works fine
Хорошее дополнение! Спасибо! Good ext., big thx!
