First complaint no Google+ Second complaint you have to disable security plugins like bluhell and the like in order to use your browser plugin that is just bad business and programing. So know we have to open our browsers to viruses and outside attacks by turning such services off just so we can share something with friends and family.

First improvement needs to be a default set of sharing buttons starting with the most popular Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Email. From what I have noticed Facebook, Twitter and Email are showing by default but no Google+ and its as if they are behind on the times and these guys have an active Google+ profile and account lol oh the irony.

Summary of needed changes add Google+ to default share bottons along with Facebook, Twitter and Email. Make it work with security software addons and the like in Firefox it is disheartening that we have to turn off our security settings to use your service and render our browsers open to viruses and attacks on the Net.

Decided to uninstall this addon.. After several weeks of issues with this addon & no response from ShareThis , FF or Twitter on the problem I just uninstalled it & moved on with a different one.

While it works perfectly using Twitter, it won't upload to my Facebook account & my ShareThis Facebook app shows it hasn't been used. ShareThis support has been useless.

Attempting to share from anything other than the Share This bar causes Firefox to crash consistently.

loathsome sharethis Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I didn't download it but there it is, blocking my text. I got it out once but is slithered back on to my yahoo news. Nothing I've tried gets rid of it now and I can't believe anyone has anything nice to say about this thing. It's intrusive, annoying and must play unpleasant to watch bobbing along as I scroll. Get rid of it ASAP.

Another one gathering your data Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Read the Privacy Policy, this is another 'service' that gathers your data, and allows other, 3rd party 'service providers' to gather it also. Once those 3rd parties have it (whoever they are because they are not identified here) its out of the control of 'share this' . This add-on allows other, unidentified companies to gather data about you and use it for their own means. Is anyone surprised that identify theft and spam is increasing when so much data is gather, passed on, and sold to unknown parties?

Bugs Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I can't open the options menu with the new version of ShareThis (for Firefox 4). Got this message :
"Erreur d'analyse XML : entité non définie
Emplacement : chrome://sharethis/content/customize_toolbar.xulNuméro de ligne 6, Colonne 1 :<window id="preferencesWindow" title="ShareThis - &msgstr_custom;" orient="vertical" xmlns="http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul">^"
Can someone help me please ? (Yes, I'm french...)

For those who criticize privacy policy, is there another add-on you recommend to share links/pages/articles easily ?
Thank you all,
Morgane

This add-on's history of what you share doesn't work. So, once I shared something, I couldn't go back a day or two later and share it again or even find out what it was exactly I had shared!
Boo.

User profiling at its worst Rated 1 out of 5 stars

While you use this add-on, or even when you have it installed and visit supported pages, browsing behaviour, including page flow, visits, clicks, IP address, your ISP, time-on-site and a whole lot more is collected. Profiling at its worst. It constitutes a major invasion of your privacy if you use this add-on.

(a propos, apparently Mozilla is planning to integrate this as "Simple Sharing" in future versions of Firefox... Meaning this kind of invasion of privacy will become "core browser functionality". Where are we going again?)

Has anyone REALLY read the "Privacy Policy" for this add-on? It's definitely convenient & I had been using it for months but had not created an acct...then I went to their website, reviewed their "Privacy Policy" & personally, I feel that the use of their add-on sets users up (who, like me, probably did not bother to read the details of their Privacy Policy) for an EXTREME INVASION OF PRIVACY.
Word to the Wise: READ THE PRIVACY POLICY!

Awesome add-on - but problem: when you are at the top of the page sometimes the main box gets covered up by the toolbar, and if you are already at the top of the page, you can't scroll up to close the Share This window. Please look into and fix for future v's. Other than that works great and very handy.

Doesn't support Posterous.com, which makes this fall short of "Add This", which does support it (along with everything that Share This supports).
