64 reviews for this add-on
  • Despite looking, I've had no success finding information about sending tabs to another PC (not device, computer).

  • Works goid

  • It is not yet working on Quantum :(

  • This review is not a complaint about this specific add-on, or it's developer,
    It's for Firefox developers!
smart mobile devices exist for 10 years, why such an essential feature isn't integrated yet with Firefox itself !?
I have been a dedicated Firefox user for about 2 decades, and it was my favorite browser, but it is starting to get bloated, slow, and the best part was, having add-on for almost any need, now , instead of having more options, we got less. bummer.

  • Really, what is mozilla doing ? This feature should be included in firefox !

  • Don't like the fact I can't use this when I was just doing so and I can't send stuff from my phone to my laptop

  • very useful. just wish there was an option to change the # of default URLs from 30 to say 40 or whatever user chooses.

  • This was a great extension while I used it, now it can be directly toggled in about:config by setting "services.sync.sendTabToDevice.enabled" to true

  • I love this add-on. I can send a page to my phone or tablet for reading it later.

There is a bug though, when I choose 'Send this page to other device' it shows devices which are already disconnected from my Firefox sync account. Please fix this.

  • Does whats promised perfectlly

  • Firefox for Android can send tabs to computers via the share menu. This addon brings the same functionality to the desktop version of Firefox.

  • I love this addon and use it almost daily. However, it has one caveat. When i open firefox it fetches the pages to open as soon as possible. If firefox happens to crash in that time, the pages seem to be marked as open, but do not recover when firefox is reopened. A rolling history, of the last day or so of tabs that were opened and cleared would help this lost tab problem which is extremely infuriating, especially when you send 15 tabs over and loose them and all.

  • Addon itself works perfectly. You can right click on links and then send them to whatever device you want. They then show up on that device in a few moments just as if you had sent a tab from firefox mobile to your computer.

Only downside I see is that you can't right click on tabs to send them to your device, but that's a minor thing really.

  • Works perfectly

  • Works flawlessly. However, when a page's design doesn't allow the right-click context menu, it's not possible to use this add-on, hence, like others suggested, it should be available via a tab's context menu, or a regular menu command.
Many thanks to the developer <3

  • nothing appears in right click menu to send to any devices. firefox sync is working fine with shared tabs etc though

  • This addon is marked as incompatible with multiprocess Firefox and prevents its use (yet it seems to work fine). Hopefully that will be fixed soon, since it's useful.

  • I think along with 'right click on page', this option should also be included in the Firefox menu (right beside the "Synced Tabs" option)

  • This is perfect. Agree with the reviewer below that it would make sense to include the menu option in the contextual menu for the tab rather than the page, though: you are, after all, sending a *tab*. Otherwise: fabulous; exactly what I needed.

  • I think though, there should be an option like "send to device" in tab right click menu (not only in page right click menu).

PS. What a shame, Firefox Devs, it should be built-in feature!

  • This addon works without any fuss on my phone and computer. I can find interesting articles on my phone, and mark them for later reading or analysis on my computer by sending the tab across. When I power up my computer the next morning, they just quietly appear.

It's as simple as it gets, and as it should be -- no fancy gimmicks or flashy UI. Love it!

  • Very useful addon!

  • Perfect for going between my laptop and desktop.
Hopefully this will be integrated into the Firefox sync at some point, the android implementation Firefox has already done is perfect, it feels like they forgot to put it through to the desktop version which is odd.

  • Kudos on this app. Couldn't find anything similar for other browsers.. however, what would really be extremely awesome (*and this is what I was ultimately looking for*) is real-time syncing of tabs you open. I will explain.. Lets say I use a Android device with Google Assist (wannabe Siri) and I open the link with Firefox it should open it directly on my PC device aswell. This would be extremely useful while couch surfing or walking around the house, you just pick-up your phone and tell google "ACDC Thunderstruck", click the youtube link to open in firefox (and when you disabled youtube on Android) it should start playing the song on your Home theatre system, that is connected to you PC

Dude, that would be awesome .. really pretty please could you make this happen

ps .. sometimes it takes minutes before it sync to other device

  • Finally a way to also send tabs to my phone, and not only the other way round.

However, it took me some time to understand how it works as I was searching for a button in the toolbar.
And that nearly lead me to uninstalled it as I thought it was broken.
