You can also press Ctrl + L to select the location bar, although I think many users will prefer the first given solution (about:config)

Easier way for... select all. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

1: In address bar type about:config
2: find the value: browser.urlbar.clickSelectsAll
3: Right-click select toggle
4:Done , url bar gets fully highlighted on firs click

Hope this solved any confusion.......

It also works in Firefox 3 if install.rdf is appropriately modified (or Ignore version check is enabled).
Alt+D, Ctrl+C is a bit cumbersome, easier is mouse click in address bar and Ctrl+C :-)

Works great on the Mac OS X. I didn't know what I was missing until I installed this extension. What a time saver! (Especially on those long web addresses.) Thanks!

So far this add on is working like charm!

I thought I was the only one experiencing this little bug.

Thank you SO much for making this add-on!

I am on a multicore INTEL Mac running 10.4.10 and so far it's running great!
