Great little plugin! I use it constantly!

Disappointed with both functionality and support Rated 2 out of 5 stars

This functionality is something that would be useful to me, particularly the ability to put the search arguments into quotes, but it turns out to be pretty useless because the extension doesn't seem to handle characters with diacritics properly. I tried to search for "Academia Mexicana de Genealogía y Heráldica" but this extension took me to a search for "Academia Mexicana de Genealog?a y Her?ldica", which doesn't get me anywhere.

My other beef is that I can't find a way to contact the developer directly, meaning that I have to raise a bug report here rather than through the proper channels. Clicking on the support link only gets me to a page where I'm asked to sign up to a mailing list. I want to report a bug, and get a response to it, not join a social networking site, and so I have no option but to report it here and hope for a response.

I second Godwin's request (display in main context menu, not in a submenu). Otherwise great.

Can you please include an option to show all the search engines in the context menu of Firefox and not inside a submenu ?

SearchWith is one of my "must-have" addons.

I was really missing it while the context menu hiccup lasted. Version 0.4.3 fixed this issue, and I'm a happy camper once again. Thanks!

Remove your name in the context menu Rated 3 out of 5 stars

The authors name in the context menu of Firefox is a "no go"! I will wait a little time for an update. In the worst case, I will uninstall it.

What was the point? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

What was a 5 Star extension is no longer.
The developer took it upon himself to add his name to the context menu in Firefox with no way to remove it. Unprofessional.

Do like the rest of the developers and put your name in an About Bubble or leave it in the install.rdf

new useless context menu iteam Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I don't like the new context menu item "soyapi",there is no need to perform himself to do like this.
why not leave an option to remove it to end user?

Version 0.4.3 adds "Soyapi" in main context menu and does nothing when clicked.

Not working on TB3

Worked sporadically with TB3 RC2. Not at all with TB3 Official.

I never realized how much I needed this extension until I upgraded to TB3.0beta and found that it didn't work anymore (at least, not while reading a message). The string of negative reviews below all seem to be from linkspammers advertising for their own _Firefox_ extensions, who didn't realize (or care) that this is a Thunderbird extension. Hopefully it'll be upgraded soon, or someone will suggest an alternative that works with TB3! Please?

verry promising. I especially like, that it allows to edit search plugins.

it can read open search plugins from various directories.

it can also search multiple engiens at once, if they are all associated with a particular service (and the service is selected why holding the shift key)

the "services/edit service" dialoge does not fit on screen entirely (OK Cancel cut of half way)

the "services/edit service" dialoge allows to associate engienes with a service, but not not untie this association afterwards. that is confusing. but it is possible to untie the association after all, by goint to the "engines/edit engines" dialoge and selecting "none" as service.

I really like this, but I wish it were easier to customize. The options menu has a "services" tab and an "engines" tab, but no apparent way to move these ostensibly available engines into the "services" tab.

Other than that, a brilliant concept. An update just might bring in that 4th star.

It shows on the contextual menu in a COMPOSE window but not a READ window. So there is a bug in there somewhere. This is the only word look-up for TB (many on Firefox) so I would mark this issue CRITICAL. Otherwise, great work!
