What would also work and be very helpful is if you just integrated your Search This Site Search Bar into Firefox 4's already there by default Google Search Bar. One less bar and still quick access to it would be very nice. Give us an option to do that at least while not taking away the actual second search bar for those that would like to keep it.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.30).

The SearchThisSite search bar and the Google search bar have two entirely different functionalities. Combining the two would mean having to add an option to toggle between the two functionalities, which would be counter-intuitive.

How about combining the location (address) bar and Google search bar into one with Omnibar (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/omnibar/)? You would no longer have the Google search bar and have the SearchThisSite Search Bar instead.

This is a pretty cool add-on, but it doesn't do what I want it to do. I was looking for a search bar add-on that could find words on a page. Very much like the control+f shortcut, but at the top. Is there any chance of adding that feature to your existing search bar? Just add a little dropdown menu to switch on and off between searching the site using the site's own search bar, or merely searching for words on a page like the find bar. That would make it even better!! Thanks!

The addon is called SearchThisSite, not SearchThisPage ;-) so I will unluckily not add your suggestion. Moreover, switching on and off is not very intuitive.

I searched AMO and found this: "Find Toolbar Tweaks" (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/find-toolbar-tweaks/), which has an option to "move toolbar to upper area". Maybe il will suit your needs. If not, got to Mozilla Add-ons Forum (https://forums.mozilla.org/addons/viewforum.php?f=28) and post your idea for someone to develop it.
