Quickest and easiest solution I have found yet to Firefox getting hijacked - which happens way too often

Awesome Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I had a search engine, which repeatedly installed itself. After installing this, it never happened again.

I had yahoo highjacking itself into my searches and it seems to be fixed

It worked great Rated 5 out of 5 stars

When I clicked to install the add-on, i checked the add-on list and it wasn’t there, so I then went and added a new webpage and the “very annoying” Swagbucks homepage and search url was gone. Outstanding...........

It removed a webpage that was opening in the new tab even after the bad add-on was removed.

Did not work.

Worked Perfectly Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've been looking all over the Internet for a solution to stopping Yahoo! from hijacking my Firefox, and I found this add-on. Installing this add-on worked perfectly and efficiently. Thank you! I would definitely come back to this add-on if I find myself having a similar issue again.

Thanks a lot for add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thank you for this amazing add-on. It helped me to get rid of annoying yahoo starpage!

This Is How To Use It Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Install the addon and it does everything. You won't even realize until you press Ctrl+T

I'd bookmark this for later !!!

p.s. for those who say its "Useless" You people need to uninstall the malware from your computer before doing this or the unwanted search, new tab page, etc will keep coming back.

Did what it promised to do.

Worked for Me Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Did exactly as it said it would and then uninstalled as stated

Useless Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Does nothing. Some Lavasoft crapware deleted all search engine options except Bing (and grayed out the box to reset them), and this add-on does NOTHING to fix the problem.

Useless Rated 1 out of 5 stars

FireFox keeps changing my start page to yahoo and this is supposed to stop that . It doesn't. I think I will have to uninstall firefox and use chrome.

Fixed blank default search engine perfectly. Highly Recommend.

MmmmNope Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Does not reinstate my home page. As soon as I change the selection in the search bar the home page starts using that search engine. That's not the "default behaviour" I'm used to.

This makes the "home page" pointless. Worse, it makes it damned irritating. That's a comment on FireFox, not this extension, but I still can't give the extension high marks.

It works great on Mac as long as you leave your browser open. Close Mozilla, open it again, and back comes ividi.org in my case - meaning I have to do an install each time I open Mozilla!
