My goal would be to combine the location and search bar into a single bar - that would be really awesome! Until that's possible, this add-on lets me minimize the search bar so it only shows the active search engine. I also use Peers to search from the address bar. Thanks to the Add to Search Bar extension, I set up a lot of useful search engines. Now I simply enter the keyword (sometimes just a single letter) followed by the search term in the address bar, check the search bar to see if the proper engine is selected, and then search. That's awesome search for Firefox!

SearchWP Rated 5 out of 5 stars

What do you mean when you say it now supports SearchWP? Is SearchWP a replacement for Autosizer or does it provide additional features?

Not for FF3? Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Good extension. I used it with FF2, but when I tried to install it on FF3, came up incompatible. Wazzup?

YAY Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Only 9 reviews? This extension rocks! I move the nav buttons from the navigation toolbar to menu bar and hide the nav buttons. As a result my search bar is rather small but it expands as necessary to fit the text with this extension! Nice work and thank you so much for updating for FF3!

Dunno what the previous guy is talking about, but works perfectly in FF3. Especially love how it takes up minimal space, and expands as we type. Thx a ton!

Might Help If ??? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Might also help if the owner to this awesome extension was more up to date with FF it self. You say to update with the latest version of FF and i have and always do but yet no green button for d/l. Could it be that "your" not updated or even confused? Might help if you would put a green button for d/l for those of us who "have" the latest version of FF. I give your extension the highest, a 5 because it is great when and if the owner of this extension is more up to speed with the FF crew.

Confused Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm not sure what is wrong but I can not download this extension. I was able to do it on my older computers but I can't do it on this one. It tells me to upgrade Firefox and doesn't give me the little button to click to add to firefox. I'm confused and it sucks because I like this extension. Does anyone know what I can do? I have downloaded the latest Firefox so that shouldn't be an issue. Does it maybe have something to do with running Vista? That's the only thing I can think of. I'm giving it 5 stars because I know it's great and this extension isn't the only one that won't download.

one of the best add-ons! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

If only every thing in life could be this easy and simple and yet work so great. I had a fit trying to put in css code to get my searchbar down to bare minimum size so I could fit everything on one toolbar. Lukily I found this extension that not only lets me resize it to the width I want but also clears it and resets the search engine. This add-on does the job of 3 or 4 add-ons. excellent work!

Can enlarge the suggestions drop down too! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very useful extension, it allows me to have everything on a single toolbar in firefox (buttons, bookmarks, web search, google toolbar search and location bar) while getting enough space when it's needed.
