Is there any chance to disable this annoying redirection after each installation of userscript?
In Greasemonkey it did not happen to me.
Allows me to use scripts created by users. Some really helpful ones, real simple that improve a lot. Haven't noticed anything I don't like or have any suggestions. Good addon.
excellent work! totally replaced my old greasemonkey.
this version 0.1.7 not work with firefox mobile for android..also previous version 0.1.6 work fine..
Much better interface, worthy successor to GM.
Functions more correctly than GM.
Did I comment before? This add-on is awesome. Out-play the old GM. Especially for the //@run-at document-start, brilliant!
Greasemonkey's time is over. This is way better.
I am pretty new to Scriptish, having only used GreaseMonkey. One thing I would like to see is an update that allows for a icon to be placed up near the URL line similar to GreaseMonkey had. It allows for easy On/Off abilities, see which scripts are active for the particular web page you are on, and gave a quick access to the add ons to view your scripts.
Nice start, but these little touches go a long way towards making it user friendly.
What you're requesting already exists. If you have the Scriptish icon in the Add-on Bar you can right-click --> "Customize" to drag it elsewhere, otherwise the icon will be listed in the "Customize Toolbar" window and can likewise be dragged to a destination.
Tested it with some userscripts, even wrote one myself. Works well and as advertised.
Made a benchmark and this addon adds only 1 MB to memory consumption and 5% to Firefox start-up time. I didn’t observe any other slow down during use, however. So it seems to be well-done.
Thank you for a useful addon!
Just move from GreaseMonkey, which some how cause updating add-ons never complete, to this one. Really Great! Have to download all script again until I got an idea that I can drag .js file from GM folder in profile to Firefox and install it. Add find script function like Greasefire, which cause Firefox 8+ unopenable, would be nice!
Very sleek user script manager. Maybe it's me, but Greasemonkey seems to get more bloated with each release. ^5
Scriptish is "the" best addon I have. I love the include/exclude UI, I don't have to edit the scripts after every update which is very convenient as most scripts I use gets updated quite frequently.
Works great in ff 8.01a, the only GreaseMonkey script I'm using currently though is Reddit Enhancement Suite. I find the interface to be much cleaner than greasemonkey and am very impressed with Scriptish overall.
Works better than Greasemonkey on Nightlies/UX branch (a few scripts were malfunctioning in GM, and the Addon Manager interface wouldn't work with it).
In about:scriptish not working some links (Report a bug and Request a feature).
Maybe make access to the settings of the addon only in about:addons (not in Tools - Scriptish)?
p.s. sorry for my language.)
The project has been moved to a different location on GitHub. Version 0.1.4 will have fixed links, but in the meantime please use the following:
Great addon, Greasemonkey with very nice extras. And now Greasefire is compatible with it.
If you're planning to use Scriptish 1.1.3 on a FF with an es-ES locale, there's a bug in the chrome.manifest file, where it says:
... locale/es_ES/locale ...
it should say:
... locale/es-ES/locale ...
This way you won't have problems opening the addons manager the first time you open it each time you restart FF. Or you can wait for a new version or use the last Scriptish nightly build:
I love the options and the latest userscripts features implemented.
It's also very easy to customize preinstalled scripts to your liking from the Userscripts menu.
Greasefire was wayyy wayyyy better. love you still Greasefire...miss you a lot in Firefox 4.
Greasefire now works with Scriptish and the two addons are completely different..
Scriptish is awesome, but for us regular users not so much different from GM. What would truly be game breaking is if you could get ahold of the userscripts.org database of scripts (starting new would be hard imo) and make a site thats actually good and you can actually find scripts youre looking for... Also a greasefire like feature which everyone loved so much. Those are probably the requirements of starting a revolution that is needed to kill the old/shitty/unsupported Greasemonkey-Greasefire-Userscripts. Until then this project will not succed. Thats just what i think. Good luck.
Scriptish and forget the older monkey.
It's missing the new Execution Order functionality of Greasemonkey. Not worth switching to until then.
Scriptish has implemented @run-at which makes Execution Order sorting useless..
Working great with all my user scripts in FF 4.0. Thanks!
Button in toolbar looking bad with black background... :(
There is a new much better looking icon on the way.
