...at all. It installs, then does nothing. Clicking on "Preferences" in about:addons does nothing. The only thing one can do with this add-on is enable it and disable it. Otherwise it is a waste of time.
Hi, There have been changes in Firefox 44, and your add-on (and hence a lot of other ones out there) won't work anymore. Have you moved your repository from google code yet so that we can create issues? Sorry, there was no other place to write for support. Thanks.
Does not work on Nightly. It gets stuck on the "Create add-on" window downloading the script. Please fix this. Greasemonkey has had serious memory leaks lately that slow down the browser to a crawl to the point that I have to restart it every 15 minutes or so. I really want an alternative to Greasemonkey and am hoping that Scriptify is the answer.
Excuse my English I'm using an AMD Duron 1.4ghz with 736mb RAM and 32MB of video, I use only to watch videos on youtube, and works perfectly with the script and viewtube vlc plugin in firefox 35.0.1. No obstacle, so good. I find a script that works in other pages with flash, if anyone knows of any, would appreciate.
This add-on was better than Greasemonkey because it was fully restartless.
But now nothing works. The "Option" button simply crashes Firefox (it doesn't stop responding but becomes completely 'locked', you can't click on anything). And more important I can't even install scripts by right-clicking on them because the option doesn't show up anymore.
So basically in its actual state this add-on is just a "deadlock FF" button...
Please Update the addon. It is no longer working. This was a great addon for the Mozilla addon eco system. It helps many developers and the community on an whole. Kindly update this to work with newer versions of firefox.
Thanks a lot for this addon. I have made my first addon "Docs Online Viewer" with this. Otherwise, it would be too hard to make one. (Although due to some unknown reasons, my addon is not yet fully reviewed. lets see)
Adding new scripts is awkward, managing them even worse as they are contained in addons tab, not the separate one like in GM or Scriptish, UI is nonexistent and current release is bugged.
Every other script related addon also autoupdates scripts, so the only new thing in this is that it doesn't require restart, which is used twice - after installing it, and immediately uninstalling after about 5 minutes.
Simply not worth the effort. It's better sticking with Scriptish, one which simply WORKS.
Looking forward to continued development after problems with scriptish. I can install GoogleMonkeyR (http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/9310) but it's not saving my preferences and that makes the script useless. Hope you'll be able to fix this in the next version.
Great addon but some scripts fail to install. For example Linkify plus https://userscripts.org/scripts/show/1352 gives 1352.user.js: Invalid include filter: "http*" error. and YouTube Link Title https://userscripts.org/scripts/show/83584 gives 83584.user.js: Invalid include filter: "http*" 83584.user.js: Invalid exclude filter: "http*//*.google.*/*" 83584.user.js: Invalid exclude filter: "http*//*.youtube.com/*" 83584.user.js: Invalid exclude filter: "http*//vimeo.com/*" Hope that will help.
