Win 7+FF 27.0.1: ScrewAds completley screws this browser. Locks it and can only be terminated through task manager. So ABP for now, which i dont like as it feels bloated and makes YT and browsing in general really sluggish.
I see no difference. Did YouTube outsmart this add-on?
Didn't work on FF 22 and 23. And froze Firefox when I clicked on "Options"
Youtube ads are really annoying - and I don't want to block all ads on the net like ABP does. That's why I use this. Works just like promises.
suggested to everybody!
Keeps locking up have to reboot Firefox
Freezes when clicking Options in Add-on manager.
Doesn't work on FX 20
Much needed addon
I have fully tested the ScrewAds Plus add-on and the developer description is exactly as described... Work perfectly fine with Firefox browser v19 with the latest youtube layout but if you having problems then its often course by another addon conflict, so simply disable few at a time other addons and try again until you find the addon coursing the problem with ScrewAds Plus addon... I only found one small problem and that is the option feature in the extension manager and it causes the browser to lock-up and needed to press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and select start task manger to end Firefox task program, Need fixing asap!
It worked for one day but now Youtube is muting all the sound to the videos. Also, options button crashes Firefox.
This addon crashed firefox - had to end program in task manager
I clicked on options and there were no options. I uninstalled it immediately because I need to trust the add-on makers before I use them.
When clicking the Options button I get the message: "can't find the file at jar:file:///C:/Users/[xxxx]/AppData/Roaming/[xxxx]/email@example.com!/app/options.html." And the Options window is tiny tiny ... :) Can't rate it yet. Have to give it SOME stars though to submit this. Update (Aug. 2013): Just removed it. The Options button makes FF freeze. Maybe it works on the regular 32 bit FF, but I'm using the 64 bit fork of FF called Palemoon.
