Awesome Screenshot & Screen Recorder by Diigo Inc.
Review by Quid
Rated 5 out of 5
by Quid, 2 years agoVery helpful for things like recipes (you can crop out the stories and only save the actual recipe), saving long threaded comments, or other things that are challenging to archive in anything other than a screencap.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13533076, a month agoPretty excellent screen shot tool. Doesn't get a full five stars because on really, really long pages the capture tool will freeze and crash. Overall my go-to however.
- Rated 2 out of 5by TELLALL4ALL, a month agoWorks about 60% of the time. Tries to sell you on a different program when you try to use it. Freezes your windows computer when trying to capture large page requiring hard reboot then-no throttling or limits on memory consumption resulting in stalled machine. When it works it works well, too bad that doesn't come close to 100%

- Rated 2 out of 5by USER-EXPERIENCEONLY, 2 months ago11-7-23: Clips the image so download is incomplete. SLOWWWWW. Freezes computer on long pages with no progress bar.
In windows 8.1 when capturing a large page, it runs roughshod on your memory and your computer will freeze up often requiring a reboot. Does not work on portable browsers that are not integrated into your OS. Slow to load, run and save an image. - Rated 1 out of 5by ʟ·ɪɴᴀᴅᴀᴩᴛé, 3 months agoThis extension requires an account and therefore a registration to use it.
Go away! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18032245, 3 months agoI use this extension on every Browser that allows it. I have been a happy and satisfied "Awesome Screenshot" User for much longer than 3 years, during which it has made awesome contributions to my workflow!

- Rated 3 out of 5by shredjward, 4 months agoFlat out inferior to its' chrome counterpart. If I had no knowledge of this extension in chrome, I would probably rate 1 star because I'd find it next to worthless. However I hold the chrome version in such high regard that it actively raised my rating for this version of it.
