I miss Screengrab :( Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I used Screengrab constantly, and I'm sorry it's not compatible with FF 15. The ability to copy to clipboard was great. I'm using Abduction instead, (thanks to nodiscc for the recommendation). It's good, but I miss the copy/paste function SG provided.

Andy M, if you're listening, please consider updating this awesome extension! :)

Discontinued.. use Abduction instead Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Users that want to save webpages/elements as images should now use the Abduction Firefox addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/abduction/

This add-on is one of my two favorites, (along with Cool Previews) and I'm using it in FF12. I'm not sure which version, but it works perfectly. Thanks, thanks, thanks.

fix for FF11 Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I replaced that install.rdf from v0.96.3 with the install.rdf file from the fix version. Installed fine on FF11.

WARNING: Don't install the screengrab (fix version) by Alexander, he's a shady Russian hacker. Who has domains registered in China.

Screengrab was good while it lasted, I'm giving it a 2 star rating because it's no longer supported by the original developer. It was great while it lasted, no screencapture addon came close to it. (I'd say it was a 5 star addon.) Fireshot is way too bloated and gimmicky to compare to it.

Edit: Okay, so maybe it's not malware. I still think Alexander is a shady Russian hacker.

Was a great plugin Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Was the best plugin for taking screengrabs in FF, real shame original developer can't update.

I've tried the version updated by Alexander, works great:

Manual fix for FF 10.0.x Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Workaround to fix this version manually after installation. Locate profiles folder. Locate folder extensions/{02450954-cdd9-410f-b1da-db804e18c671} Open install.rdf with text editor. Enter a higher maxVersion. For example:

<em:maxVersion>20.0.*</em:maxVersion>

Restart Firefox. Works with 10.0.2 -)

Aurora 12.0a2 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

ScreenGrab does work in FF Ver.10! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Worked in 3.62 , didn't work in version 9 and was disabled.

You got to keep this compatible in future versions. This is one of my all time favorites! Simple! No F keys to enable and just a right click away. Hint: Magnify +/- with Ctrl + scroll wheel adds more versatility. Perfect for your own web site screen shots! Compose tutorials fast and easy or anything if it opens in the browser. I only wish it were compatible with the windows desktop.

A reasonable alternative Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Отличное расширение!
Только автор уже давно не поддерживает его и в новых версиях firefox данный модуль не работает.
Кому интересно - я немного доработал его, чтобы он стал работать на последних версиях firefox.

LTS Version of Firefox Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I read that Mozilla is planning a long term support version of Firefox that will be released only once a year. Maybe that version could be targeted by Screengrab to reduce the workload involved in maintaining compatibility.
