disable the Yandex Sovetnik by default Rated 1 out of 5 stars
(reply: I know that developers want to monetize addon. But it's not good that something modifying site pages without my agreement from the beginning)
Yandex Sovetnik helps our users to save money while helping developers to monetize their extensions. You can easily turn it off in the settings. Hope for your understanding.
RIP Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Thx for spyware. What a nice policy.
"helping developers to monetize our extension" - by built in an anal probes? And don't even notify users about it? Ple-e-ease.
Includes an ADWARE (Virus) do not use Rated 1 out of 5 stars
adding this addon will include an Offers4U box to pop up at random times on your screen. BEWARE!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.86.1-signed).
Отличное дополнение! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Спасибо разработчикам! Благодарен! Жаль только здесь представлена старая версия которая не работает в Мозиле 43.0.3. А обновленную версию можно скачать с сайта разработчика.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.86.1-signed).
Easy way to download your fav videos!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Great way to download videos from various websites(Vimeo, dailymotion, Youtube....) without actually installing relevant application in my PC. Very interactive UI for choosing different video qualities based on the filesize.
It can be used to download even private videos which are not meant to be downloaded.(Protected under license).

installs useless Offers4U Adware! Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Do NOT install this adware installer - the only way you can get the super-annoying and useless Offers4U adware to uninstall is the uninstall this addon - NOT worth itThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.86.1-signed).
No Issues Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Been using this extension for at least six months without any issues at all. No adware, no malware, no problems. Works great!! Functions as advertised. I highly recommend. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.86.1-signed).
Installs Adware - Do NOT install this add-on! Rated 1 out of 5 stars
While this add-on works well for downloading videos, it installs adware without any notification to the user. And while the developer has replied to several reviews here stating that the adware feature can be deactivated by de-selecting the Advisor box in the add-on settings, I do not have such an option!
Better to use one of the many websites that offer video download features to directly download videos...
includes Offers4U adware Rated 1 out of 5 stars
If you look at Amazon items with this enabled, you get Offers4U pop-ins. There's a checkbox in the addon's settings to disable it, but who knows if it's not working in the background. The installation process and description NEVER mentioned this inclusion. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.86.1-signed).
works very well Rated 5 out of 5 stars
very easy to use and works very wellThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.86.1-signed).
The problem start menu FF Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Когда плагин включен, его работа препятствует вызову меню FireFox (три горизонтальные линии), меню просто не открывается. Отключив плагина, все приходит в норму.Появилось после последнего обновления плагина (5.40 в FF, на 5.30 все нормально)
EN:When the plugin is enabled, it prevents work-call menu FireFox (three horizontal lines), the menu just does not open. After disconnecting the plugin, everything comes back to normal. Introduced after the last update plugin.(5.40 in FF,at 5.30 okay)

SaveFrom.net - очень нужный помощник во время "прогулок" в Интернете! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Разработчикам - СПАСИБО!!!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.86.1-signed).
BEWARE - THIS IS A SPYWARE INSTALLER!!! Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Avoid this pluig-in like the plague because it installs Offers4U and it cost me $40.00 get this spyware off my system. This crap should be pulled by Mozilla and banned forever!!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.86.1-signed).
ADWARE - Offers4U Rated 1 out of 5 stars
This plugin installs adware on your computer. Do NOT install or use this. I don't care if you can 'disable' the adware... any plugin that tries to hide something like that is not to be trusted.
Even if it was harmless, it also takes up someone's time and energy to track down where Offers4U came from, because there's no way of telling from the adware itself. I thought I had a damn virus.
Plenty of safe, adware free alternatives that are way better.
The developer said it doesn't take much time to go and disable the adware in the plugin settings. Yeah, once you FIND where Offers4U comes from.. but if you have no idea it can take several hours of hunting before you even get to that point. THAT is what takes the time!!
Spyware/Adware is not the price Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Since it was Mozilla offering this I loaded the add-on with trust. WRONG.. It loaded SPYWARE/ADWARE on my browser without giving me the chance to select/reject it. This is underhanded and unethical. I will never use anything by this company again. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (4.86.1-signed).
There is nothing on the extension that can not be disabled. Just go to Settings and unmark Advisor box on the bottom of the page.
Shouldn't take much time. After all you won't ever see advertising.
Adware! avoid at all costs. Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Include spy/adware for "Offers4U", avoid at all costs.
Only found out that it was this addon after spending 3-4 hours using different anti-virus software to track it down after ads appeared on imdb and amazon.
Offers4U can be simply disabled by going to Settings and unmarking Adviser check-box.

Contains spyware/spamware - avoid Rated 1 out of 5 stars
In addition to video download, this add-on includes spyware that snoops your web searches, and (without any opt-in requested from you) puts up rival offers to the sites you visit: for example, if you go to lastminute.com and search for hotels, it launches a window with a number of competitor sites, using your query.
It says NOTHING about this on the add-on's page. It says NOTHING about this in the Terms or even in the Privacy information. The only way you could find out about it is if, having already installed it, you:
1. Visit the Add-Ons Firefox menu item.
2. Choose the Extensions tab.
3. Locate "SaveFrom.net Helper".
4. Click Options. Nope, we're not finished yet.
5. Right at the bottom of the options page for this extension, there's a little button marked "Settings." Click that.
6. Right at the bottom of the settings list, there's an unexplained little extra item marked "Advisor". Yep, that's what you have to untick to avoid having your every web search snooped.
Did you happen to notice anything about an "Advisor", or what it does? No. Thought not.
So, ladies and gentlepeeps, what we have here is an extension, purporting to be a video downloader, that goes to extraordinary lengths to hide the fact that it includes spyware. These people are doing stuff that would be illegal in EU jurisdictions. Decide for yourself: is this trustworthy behaviour? Is this something you really want to have on your system?
