PLEASE FIX/UPDATE the add-on!! This add-on is great, but it is not compatible with the newer versions of Firefox (i.e. Firefox 35.0.1)!

Addon needs an update in order to work with modern versions of Firefox.

This is the only addon that allows downloading directly to Drive and it has not been upgraded in a while. Please upgrade it for use on latest Firefox. Thank you.

Incompatible with Firefox 28. It would be great get this extension working!

Not compatible with release or nightly Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Can't install on any form of Firefox available. Would love to try this out or contribute but alas no.

Thank you for your feedback

Hi , I'm glad to know that you are interested in using/contributing for this add-on. Google has recently disabled the Google Drive remote fetch API, and due to this fact, this add-on is not working in many regions, except very few. I will definitely look forward to find an alternative.
Thank you.

Missing reply? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Sorry for the second review, delete it if you must, but I can't see a way to reply to your reply to my first review.

I am now using Firefox 22. So the plugin is currently incompatible. I believe I was using 21 last time.

It's a great concept :) I hope you get it all sharpened :)

Will be updated soon

Hi Anoop, thank you for your feedback. I'm currently working on finding a reliable API to make this add-on work across all regions. I'm definitely aware of this, and I will update it as soon as possible.

Fortunately this worked well me (Australia, using V22). I much prefer Firefox over Chrome. Worth it's weight in gold, full credit and kudos to the author.

Thank you

Glad that the add-on worked for you. Thank you for your valuable reply.

Thank you for your feedback

Hi,thank you for your feedback. As I'm working on finding a reliable API, the update may take a while. Also, the "Icon" issue has been definitely considered, and the icon will be smaller in the next update.

Doesn't work for me.... Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Even after logging in to my Google Drive account, I keep receiving the "file too big or invalid link" message. I've tried a few files, mostly compressed Word documents under 300K, and I still receive the message. The website I'm trying to download from is my father's website, which I created for him, and does not require login credentials of any kind nor uses any javascript redirectors on the page.. When I used the "link analyze" feature to find a valid link, I still received the "file too big or invalid" message. The Photobucket link, in an earlier review, which the developer says is a valid link also gives me the "file too big or invalid" message. I'm not sure what to do at this point, other than to remove the extension and move on.

Not working Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Doesn't work, keeps asking me to login

API disabled

Looks like google has disabled this API in your region. There's nothing I can do about this mate.

Not working at all Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Always asks me to login, no matter how many times I login. Very poor interface. Useless...

Maybe Google has disabled this API

Hi, Good to know that you tried this add-on. But recently, google has disabled this API in some regions, so users from those regions cannot access this API. I would have helped you if there was anything i could do, but it is left to the decision of google.

Brilliant one for drive users. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works brilliant. It saved me lots of time. Thank you for this wonderful addon. I can now download entire albums to drive, zip it and download zip file at once.

I have been using this for some days and it works pretty well. A similar official add-on for chrome downloads the entire file and then uploads it to drive wasting bandwidth, but this one needs just a link. It works with facebook, imageshack, picscrazy, photobucket and other popular sites. Sometimes, it says invalid link because of javascript embedded images. I suggest using analyse function when not able to capture image link, which can recognize images even if it is embedded in javascript. Not tried with Google+ as one reviewer said. The problem is it does not work with privacy protected images in facebook, but it has been told that is how it works and only public links are supported. I believe privacy protected photos ask you to login first.
This will be helpful for those who constantly add bits of stuff from internet to Google Drive for later use.

Works with public links only

Hi, great that you tried this add-on.
Could you please give some sample URLs with which you tried? Maybe it did not work with you because the site you were using (Google+) required that you had to be logged in. I have tried this with many photo sharing sites, and it worked in every case. As stated, it will work ONLY if the link is public. A public link is one, which does not redirect to something else, and does not require you to log in before viewing the file. You can try that by right-clicking the big Mozilla icon on the top of this page, and selecting "Save Image to Google Drive".
You may have trouble in determining the image link with sites that use complex javascript. If you have trouble extracting the image link, use "Analyze this page for links" and look for entries with the type "Image".
Thank you for your response.

EDIT: Here is a proof that it works with photobucket. An image URL of photobucket looks like this :
http://media.beta.photobucket.com/image/bokeh/jadehair/bokeh_zps6e90fb2b-1_zps95cd1d8a.jpg

When the link is added to the queue, either manually or by right-clicking the image and selecting Save Image to Google Drive, it is added to your Google Drive account.

Works as expected. Adds 30-40 images to drive within a minute. User interface is appealing. Overall, a good one, and very useful for google drive users.
