Sanitisminau is one of the best plugins I ever used. It may not sound like this, but clearing the cache on-the-fly without having to open a limiting "Privacy Window" is a total must have. Many kudos to the dev!!
I'll definitively keep using this awesome plugin!
Thank you, 1.4. works again, you just made my day :-)
Heya, been using your add-on for a few years now, thanks :)
New version of FF(45) and it broke again I tried simply changing this:
< em:maxVersion>44.*< em:maxVersion > to 99.*.* as I did for a few other plug-ins in the past but FF won't let me (security thing) so if you could switch it again as you did last time I would apreciate it...maybe just edit to look like I have up top, so you don't have to do this every bloody time FF updates itself if it works that way ;)
I don't get this, it does the same thing that every other clear private data addon does. What makes this one special ? It seems to clear the same way as the FF clear private data feature. Does that fake warning message actually work with users ?
Hello, is a very useful and fast click clean addon, thank you.
Wondering about feature to change icon, better good looking than a broom :)
I like the idea but the control icon is nowhere to be found( on both 3.6.17 and 4.01). I like the idea of the add-on and if you can fix this I naturally will update and edit this review. Thank you!
"This is a great little addon, and it works for me with Tabmix sessions. It cleans everything with one click if you have your settings correctly configured."
How do you configure cleaning Tabmix sessions when Sanitiseminau doesn't even have such option?
Hope it will change in next version.
This is a great little addon, and it works for me with Tabmix sessions. It cleans everything with one click if you have your settings correctly configured. I also love the sweeping brush icon.
lighweight addon @10kb for clearing cache / history & login-info
Please, give us a button to add, for FireFox 4!...
Great addon, but don't support FireFox 4 :(
Hey it works and without the MS "are you sure?" nag.
Just what I need a quick button the is the same as the Tools->Clear Recent History.
This is an excellent example of the Linux Philosophy, do one thing and do it well. Sanitisminau does one thing and does it well. Keeping it simple.
You need this because sometimes you have to back up and punt, start fresh, cover you tracks, clean up after you break camp. Like taking a shower in the morning, washing the stink of yesterdays browsing off.
So simple, works well.
But it's a pity it was made necessary by the stupid decision to add a "MS windows-type" prompt to this function. I mean why would I click on Clear Recent History" if I didn't really want to do it?
I Can't believe the option was removed in FF 3.5.
Was so annoying. Thanks for fixing it. :D
Un complemento genial, pero es incompatible con la nueva versión de Firefox,¿se puede arreglar eso?,desde ya,muchas gracias
Simple & nice add-on. Works perfectly.
Version 0.8 - It is a beautiful thing!
The issue seems to be that both versions .6 and .7 are not compatible with the MR Tech Toolkit (ver 126.96.36.199) extension's 'Clear' button . While .5 works fine with it, while using .6 and .7 and clicking on the MR Tech 'Clear' button, the FF pop-up is back. Works fine if I choose to use the Sanitisminau button, but I prefer the Clear button from MR Tech, Would be great if this could be addressed. Until then I stick with ver .5.
While version .5 worked perfectly for me; installing version .6 caused the warning window to return. I am not clear what .6 was supposed to do, but on my system, it seemingly does nothing as it reverts back to FF's default behavior when clearing recent history. I went back to version .5. I give version .5 - 5 stars *****, but version .6 - 0 stars.
Try version 0.8.
Awesome addon! Works as advertised. Ctrl+Shift+Del clears the private data silently, without the popup. The popup was driving me crazy --- thanks a bunch for creating this addon!!!
It would be better if you make Options window (to set/change the time of the history and its sections to clean) and a button to place it on a toolbar.
