What's going on with this extension?
On one hand, it is not updated for Firefox 3.6, neither is the code updated to evacuate its widely publicized vulnerability, on the other hand this extension remains published here.

What is the point?

Mozilla is concerned with secure add-ons, so is this add-on secure, yes or no. If it is not secure the why is it still accessible here?

Moreover, the author and the add-on's homepage are silent. The whole scheme does not correspond to what we know and expect from Mozilla, so could we, yes or no, have an educated answer to this most strange adventure?

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.4.3).
