Does what it says, and can even be useful. I like it.

Make Tab color optional Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Making tab colors optional is a must, I think too.

the tab color is also changed, and this makes it hard to see which tab is active.

Wonderful functionality, UI needs work Rated 4 out of 5 stars

The functionality is great, but I would prefer that the border only was a different color. Currently the tab color is also changed, and this makes it hard to see which tab is active. Furthermore, this might interfere with other tab-coloring extensions. Making tab colors optional is a must, I think. Otherwise great!

great idea but Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I would prefer it use another visual indication rather than injecting code into the current page. consider instead

+ changing the graphic within the location bar (as is possible now in CSS)
+ using slide down notifications (as when attempting to install an extension from a non-whitelisted location)
+ the same slide up notification area NoScript uses (above the status bar) and preferably color it something else

Just installed so can't comment on how effective it is yet, but can already make a few suggestions:
1. I find the frame unnecessarily thick. There should be an option to specify the frame thickness (or even remove the frame).
2. It's confusing that the currently selected tab doesn't show the secuiryt colour, only the other tabs.
3. The tab colours cause tab titles to not be very readable. There should be an option to customize it or set the text colour to something with better contrast. A better option might be to put a coloured frame around the tab rather than fill the whole tab in.
4. I particularly like the idea of highlighting security of submit buttons, but it would be much more useful if it could analyze javascript code to determine where the javascript will send data and if it is secure.

But I do like the general idea behind this extension and with a little tweaking I think it could be one of my new favorites!

I've been using this addon for a few days.
I can't find - nor here, nor on your site - the colour meanings: for example, why https://addons.mozilla.org is green and https://mail.google.com/mail/ is blue?

A useful extension that reminds you to switch to enhanced security mode when logging in. This is useful for those websites that by default do not use SSL encyption when sending your password back to their server.

Nice idea, but it seems does not work with wildcard certificate.

Details?

Can you please give me details on that (add-on version, OS, browser version, and a particular site)? I cannot seem to reproduce that bug.
