I created an account just to ask:

Would you care to document a little bit better on how to use this? Yes you you use s3:// ? Key? Which key? There are two keys.

Thank you,
Richard

Very simple and easy to use. Install in 5 seconds. Works like a charm.

Perfect. The simplest and most straight-forward way of interacting with S3 through Firefox. Does exactly what it promises, does it well, and does not try to do too much.

Glad you enjoy

I wrote it for that reason :)

So easy! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Simple to install, simple to use. In the time that I've been using this add-on - only one issue. I have hundreds of backup files in one folder, and I seem to have hit a limit - but otherwise a brilliant bit of work

Like another reader says, much better than the other popular S3 extension. No XUL this time, just a web interface. Setup takes 10 seconds.

From there exploring buckets is a breeze. I love being able to use bookmark as well. Top addon!

Best thing since sliced bread! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

NICE and EASY to use!!!

I spent 20 minutes trying to get the other popular S3 add-on to work with no luck.

I got s3:// installed and created my first bucket in about 3.5 minutes.

Easy to install and easy to setup, I still can't believe it was so simple.

This is a GREAT add-on if you want to make using Amazon S3 easy!

Nice and simple and I can get it to work with Firefox3 using Nightly Tester Tools.

One problem, S3 Buckets are case sensitive, URLs are not, so if you have a mixed case bucket name e.g. MyBucket, this will not be resolved by s3://

This has been fixed

s3://MyBucket works now - thanks for the report

An OK tool Rated 3 out of 5 stars

First of all, to any newbies, once you've set up your S3 account with Amazon, you can enter your credentials by simply entering s3:/// as your URL.

I've used the S3 organizer for quite a while now, and I'd say that s3:// provides similar functionality. However, I prefer S3 Organizer because I like the side-by-side tree structure showing local and S3 directories.

An interesting tool, but sadly not what I'm looking for. I really wanted a tool that would let me browse buckets without credentials.

Browsing without credentials works

If a bucket doesn't require credentials then you can browse it - just type s3://bucket/

twitter_production is open for instance

s3://fantastic. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

s3:// makes managing s3 data an elegant and simple process.
