- by Firefox user 13243009, 3 months agoRated 5 out of 5It worked! Tried a few plugins to get the old fb back but they stop working after a while. This one works! Hate the new fb layout - good to get old version back if only for a while.
- by Firefox user 15752040, 3 months agoRated 5 out of 5Ich bin begeistert! Herzlichen Dank!
Have fun and enjoy your day! ;-) - by thehumanx, 3 months agoRated 5 out of 5

- by Firefox user 16489685, 3 months agoRated 2 out of 5It doesn't work right. I always choose Mode 1 but it automatically goes to Mode 2, and I can't navigate to my homepage/news feed. All I get is code.

posted 3 months agoMode 1 is not compatible wtih everyones accounts, in fact facebook have now disabled mode 1 for most people, but Revert Site automatically switches to Mode 2 if Mode 1 is not compatible with your account. In Mode 2 the newsfeed will not revert to the old desktop newsfeed design, it reverts to the mobile newsfeed design, however, the rest of the site (business Pages, Groups, Events, Messages etc) will revert to the old facebook desktop design.
If you get the computer code showing on the homepage, There are a couple of things you can do.
Press Ctrl F5, to do a hard refresh, which should reset the page back to normal.
To avoid seeing the computer code on the homepage, make a browser bookmark for the newsfeed page, and use that instead of the Facebook home link or F logo button. - by LUC, 3 months agoRated 5 out of 5

- by ~M~, 3 months agoRated 2 out of 5It will not work correctly with Firefox, no matter which setting I use. I WILL look forward to when it works correctly as I LOVE FBP. Without it, FB shall be hitting the bin soon. Thank you for all you do to make FB easier and more user friendly.

yes, I am aware that the newsfeed will not revert to the old desktop newsfeed design. There were still major formatting errors. Once again, I don't blame you, FB makes it incredibly difficult to do what you are trying.Developer response

- by Sardior, 3 months agoRated 5 out of 5It was a bit of a bumpy ride when I first installed and started using Revertsite. However, after several updates the road seems to be quite smooth now and I have the old Facebook screen when I log onto Facebook. I think I've been through both levels of fall-back and they all work well. No ads, no push notifications, etc. Until Facebook changes and breaks the code I will be using this as long as it works.
- by Alexander, 3 months agoRated 5 out of 5I enjoy having Revert Site you I can have my left column menu items.
