scrolling scrolling scrolllllllllllllllllllling Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I tried this on a blog that has a lot of ads on it. The problem is that when I click on one table's cell to delete the parent it will quickly (VERY QUICKLY) scroll to the bottom of the page. I can't see if I got enough of the element because it is now a few miles above the current position. Why isn't the menu disabling the scrolling when the menu is active?

Works better than Adblock Plus element hiding helper! Easy to use. I love the option to hide similar items because website often rotate ads. Just downloaded yesterday and it made my day, so glad I found this.

I was lost without it, I've been running FF3 and these were the longest 5 days of my life, Tx for making this FF3 compatible.

This is a great extension, I can't imagine using the web without it! How else are you supposed to put up with designers who don't have a clue about usability or readability?

It seems to work fine in Firefox 3 as well. You simply need to unzip the .XPI and update the version number in install.rdf

I have put the package I modified up at http://people.debian.org/~francois/remove_it_permanently-1.0.6.4.xpi

As you can see the author has abandonned the extension long ago. A new extension called Yarip is been made.

To make it work exists many ways, the easier is nightly tester tools.

No way of backing up all the RIP files in 1 file? Looks like I can only do 1 rip at a time.

I'll try using the config.xml as a backup.

Otherwise great Addon, thanks.

Almost great Rated 2 out of 5 stars

This would be a 5-star extension if not for 2 major problems.

1) It's not compatible with current versions of Firefox 2 & 3.

(If anyone knows a way to make it work, please post here. I tried installing MR Tech as suggested in the last review & haven't gotten it to work).

2) It visibly loads everything on every page (including what you've blocked) and then when the whole page is done loading, it gets rid of things. It would be way better if it just blocked the stuff from being loaded in the first place, which is entirely possible (that's how AdBlock works).

Great stuff, remove unnecessary junk from your favourite websites, allowing for a minimalistic web surfing experience. To get it to work with Firefox 3, override version checking with MR Tech's Toolkit.

Please come back to your addon\'s development and read this Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Ever since I found R.I.P. I have used it religiously, however there are two pet-peeves of mine. First, I need to use a quickfix to make it compatible w/ Fx3.0pre, and second (this one is newer), ever since I got the addon \"prism\" and heard it would be getting addons in the future, I have been dying to have a prism port of R.I.P. Then I can get rid of those ads even in Prism web apps. Please Read this and update the Fx version, and write a prism conversion, if you do, I may have to find you and kiss your feet.
