This was good until FF 30s came out, but the fixes suggested to do manually, even Internet searching, does not make my FF remember passwords on sites that not only prevent saving them locally but also the ones that used to. This addon used to do it for me, but I went back to using KeePass and KeeFox, opposed to me just pasting passwords from my spreadsheet, as I do not know what my email password even is because I make things complicated. If this addon works in the future I will probably go back to it.
Thank you.

The new goggles do nothing, I am reduced to using an archaic form filler for passwords on some sites. Funny thing is, it saves on my bank account, but not on other sites. We need consistency.
Please bring user choice back.

I agree, Firefox's built-in functionality sucks big time, so please update for fx 32

This add-on used to be excellent and should be made available again. Firefox's built-in functionality (v.31) is not sufficient.

In SeaMonkey 2.29 (based on Toolkit v32) and later, this extension "hides" all saved passwords. Getting mail becomes impossible because the saved password is not seen and a new one is not asked for.
Downgrading makes the passwords reappear. Also disabling the extension which IIUC is unncessary in Toolkit v30 (SeaMonkey 2.27) and later.

No longer necessary with SeaMonkey 2.29+

I've tried the extension is no longer necessary to remember passwords on autocomplete="off" forms with SeaMonkey 2.29+. As I've written in another reply:

https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/remember-passwords/reviews/613680/

it appears this extension breaks the newer Login Manager implementation, so I advise all Firefox 30+ and SeaMonkey 2.29+ users to disable and remove the extension.

Will this Add-on be updated for FF v31? Excellent Add-on!

No longer necessary with Fx 30+

As given in the description, this extension should no longer be necessary with with Fx 30+:

* Ignore autocomplete="off" when offering to save passwords via the password manager (see 956906)

I've tried saving of the passwords really works without this extension, now. Others have reported and I've observed the extension actually interferes with the current Password Manager implementation in unwanted ways. Try disabling the extension (then removing it) to see if it would make any difference.

Can no longer select previously stored user names Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Really useful add-on, but it stopped working with Firefox 31. It also prevents selecting previous stored login name by clicking (or pressing down-arrow key) on a login input form. Firefox will display a list but you cannot select any entries. This was good while it lasted. Thanks.

Incompatible with Fx 30+

See my other reply at:

https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/remember-passwords/reviews/613680/

It appears the extension is not compatible with Fx 30+ but it is not really necessary with these newer Fx versions, anymore.

Worked well but no longer works since FF 31 Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Too bad !

Disable/remove this extension from Fx 30+

Please remove this extension from Fx 30+ versions and see if would help.

I'm giving this 5 stars because it was good while it was useful. But now it actually breaks the password manager in Firefox 31 or higher. You need to make the addon incompatible with Firefox 31.

This has worked well for me for years. I recently read that it is obsolete, as FF 30 and up have this setting configured already, but on 31 beta it is still necessary to get FF to insert passwords into the login fields.

Passwords missing in Firefox 32 Rated 3 out of 5 stars

All saved passwords disappear if this addon is active when you upgrade to Firefox 32. Luckily it's not permanent; they return once the addon is deactivated.

This addon is not needed any more (says the description), but if you happen to have it installed already, it breaks the password manager.

Does not work for paypal payment page where you can switch between bank account and credit card after checkout, paypal always default to blank password space regardless if logged in or not and saved password is not filled in.

Almost perfect Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I'm using this on Windows 7 + Firefox V28.0 - it remembers passwords only for those sites where I ask it to (including Yahoo, Gmail etc) and it also remembers to ignore passwords for sites where I choose 'never remember'. The only time I find it does not do what I'd like it to do is when a site uses 'Memorable information' as a second tier of security it (or Firefox?) thinks the memorable information question & answer is a password too but I just tell it to ignore this and carry on. This app is otherwise a great utility and saves hours of frustration when a password gets forgotten.

Remembered Password even AFTER pressing "Never Remember Password For This Site" Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Seemed to be working fine until it remembered a password for which I specifically clicked on "Never Remember Password For This Site". How do I reverse this action? I DO NOT want it to remember the password for this site! PLEASE HELP!!!
