Rave reviews? It doesn't work. Seems kind of stupid in the first place. Wouldn't be needed if FF worked in the first place...
This plugin is a life saver.
It'd be better to fix the broken certificate situation since the FF2 regression, but short of that this plugin helps!
Another plugin people may want to look at is "New MitM Me (Cert Error Bypass)".
1. I LOVE this add-on!
2. There's a page which kept showing "untrusted connection" and this add-on helped me bypass that untrusted connection page and took me directly to the login page (superb!). BUT, even after uninstalling the addon, the untrusted connection page got automatically bypassed. I was taken to the login page immediately. I restarted Firefox and even restarted the computer; the phenomenon persists. Why isn't the "untrusted connection" page being shown after I uninstall the add-on? I'm wondering if this is a bug or a security issue. What's going on here, Jerry?
great add-on. helps IT administrators alot. is it possible to make these windows "pop" in a some kind of "silent mode" so that our workers wouldn't see them at all
This add-on is a lifesaver for IT work. Is there any way to bypass the dialog completely?
Awesome add-on for intranet with many bad certs! Could you add a pattern matching capability so that RCE can be selectively activated for only intranet sites?
Love this extension. Please update for 3.6!
Please Jerry, make a Mac OSX and Linux version.
Really handy plugin. Can you update it to support Firefox 3.6? It seems to be compatible.
Please consider adding support for 3.6 and Linux, browsing is nightmare with this brainiac feature that Mozilla refuses to change.
OMG thank you thank you thank you!!!
Awesome interim solution. I regret the day I upgraded to newer Firefox and will most likely run away to chrome because it has made my browsing almost impossible.
This add on has given a breather room till I figure out if IE8 vs Chrome.
It feels like its Microsoft that wrote the certificate feature into Firefox.
Please update to support Firefox 3.5
Very useful tool!
Please update it to use in Firefox 3.5
infinite thanks to the author!!. This extension ends the crappy and useless certificate warnings. They are useless because finally, everubody is applying the same automatic behaviour in accepting certificates. It seems Mozilla Foundation want to force websites to buy certificates for the market. I think it was a dishonest and poor procedure. Why not include certificates in the domain registers instead force users to enter in this dishonest business. There are many solutions instead the easy corruption of a collective project. Thanks again to the author.
This totally screwed up my existing certs. I uninstalled it and now I am told a cert for Chase bank is needed each time I go there. (No, it's not a spoof site!)
I add an exception ( I should not have to) then the login does nothing. 5x Iv'e done this, for 5 new exceptions. What a piece of crap.
This is fantastic for college campuses who do not have expensive certificates for everything. It saved me tons of time when campus altered its IPP printing web certificate.
CONs: It needs a setting where you can limit it to acting on specific web sites, or a range of web sites that you need. such as 137.140.*.* or *.newpaltz.edu .
Thanks and Good Luck with it.
This add-on is awesome. I have to constantly log in to devices at work that force me to accept a certificate, and this helps out my productivity tremendously
This is equivalent to accept all kinds of certificate regardless. It could lead to serious security problems. Bear your own risk to use this extension!!!
