Very good add-on.
Parabéns pelo trabalho! Muito útil, muito bom!
amazingly User friendly ! With color codes and it actually shows you the chose color on a palette . Website analyzer is great for analyzing color patterns. The expand or collapse buttons for the website analyzer should be switched though.
Super Add-on , and very useful when i,m using Adobe PhotoShop colors and auto copy the color code :) i give you a 5 stars ;)
Great tool... thx
#as a guy, I don't like the rainbow icon.
#disable both context menu - option.
It is easier than ColorZilla.
The most important difference for me is the auto copy of the color.
In ColorZilla, I used to pick a color and than go to ColorZilla and copy the color.
Here I just pick and it is copied.
This is awsome. This will totally take the place of Print Screen and then pasting it into my paint program to nab colors! <3
Author, thank you for creating this add-on! Intuitive to use and works perfectly. Big improvement over ColorZilla by another author.
Simple and very helpful. I love it!
This add-on is very useful, simple to use and very nice looking!!
This should really be added to the web developer toolbar.
It's so much more usable than Colorzilla.
Just switched from Colorzilla because I only use the inspector/eyedropper. The ease of use and simplicity of Rainbow Color Tools is a lot better. The only criticism I have is that I should be able to close it using the Escape button, but that's a minor issue.
Great tool. Just found out about it. Replaced ColorZilla, since this has more (useful) features. Especially like the web site analyser. Would be slightly more user friendly, if the colour speification were copied to the clipboard immediately on click, instead of forcing another click on the "Copy" button.
Thanks a ton for this addon! It's awesome and I just replaced ColorZilla! That said, it would be awesome if you could provide an option to automatically copy the hex/color value when sampling a color with the inspector. As it is now you must click four times to copy a color value: 1) Open Rainbow inspector 2) Sample color 3) Click copy 4) Close inspector. Too many clicks!
A very strong candidate replacement for Colorzilla. Some accuracy issues around the "Website Analyzer" feature but the "Library" feature is an excellent addition and very useful for designers or developers.
The add-on is generally very intuitive to use although "bookmarking" colors to the library may cause some initial confusion with other URL bookmarking tools such as XMarks or Firefox Sync.
All things considered, this is a very useful and usable addition to a web designer's kit.
Too bad it doesn't work on flash application !
See next upgrade :P
I love it. A real time saver.
Exactly what I was looking for!
Brilliant addon! Ive recently changed from colorzilla to this one, alot more features inside. Have you any future plans for adding an option to make color palettes out of the colors, like palette grabber or colorsuckr?
Keep up the great work guys!
I just installed both Rainbow and Colorzilla and I need them for web development. In my opinion Rainbow is much more useful, because it shows which colour you have selected and then gives you the option to copy the value (rgb, hexadecimal, etc,), which in my case is the main point if I want to use it in other tools or programmes.
#1 Could we please have the option to display BOTH the rgb AND Hex # at the same time. And that would mean a COPY BUTTON for each.
#2The rgb does not display completely... the Magnifying icon covers over the last bracket of rgb.
I'm loving this tool!!
It has support for HSL, and it's really quick at converting units.
And most important, it's released under a free license :)
